IMO, Judas Iscariot has been unfairly portrayed as the disciple who betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. In truth, I suspect the situation was much more complex than that, but everyone (and the biblical story) demanded a scapegoat. Who knows for sure though? I wasn't there at the Last Supper! So why are some fans calling Hilly a Judas? Isn't it perfectly clear that, having all along stated his ambition to progress his career, he has chosen to do precisely that? Hilly has never been a Dale fan (a disciple, if you like), but simply an employee I wouldn't have thought he'd treat the Dale board (his employers) with apparent contempt but then again, maybe we're misreading this current situation? That's how it looks to me, but then again, I wasn't there at the Last Dale Board Meeting I await Chris Dunphy's comments (if he feels able to release them) with interest | |
