Whose ground was this? 11:11 - Apr 6 with 2835 viewsJames1980

On my way up from London I've noticed what looks like the stand for a football or other sports pitch, which is no longer on use by the looks of It, It is south of Stockport and can be seen out of the right hand window traveling towards SPT. I know I could look it up but interested if anyone knows where I'm talking about and who it once played there.

Maybe the stand is at about a 45 degree angle to the track

You can't see Macclesfield's grounds from the train, due to the angle from the tracks, plus it's on the left-hand side.

James - looking on Google Maps, the only pitch of sorts that I can see on the right-hand side close to the tracks is at Cheadle Hulme School. Can you be a bit more specific?

You mean you STILL haven't worked out why some posts get down-ticked?
