Stupid, just the same as the brilliant idea to go back to 5 subs instead of 7 for lower leagues.

I thought we were trying our best to develop young footballers.

All depends whether you think that emergency loans have been a success in the first place.

clubs all over abuse the loan system, dis-encouraging clubs to concentrate on their own youth, yet instead fill it with PL loanees who dont care, something needs to be altered about it all, we've done it ourselves and so have most clubs.

Life is a game of fate.

Can see why FIFA did it. Take us for example we gave had god knows how many amounts of players this year but if the rule is used correctly it can help nurture or even tutor players to help them reach to increase there development. Carlisle are a great example of how it is done correctly and until recently we were a bad example of it. Players like Downing, Beckham etc all have had the benefit of first team games as youngsters when first team places were limited. We have also used to help out youngsters as well with Reece Gray one of the players benefitting from it and even Trotman, things didn't work out so we managed to get him out or the benefit for us and him. Whereas the new rules will make coaches/ managers pick more wisely when signing players but smaller teams like ourselves that need this rule will simply diminish.

Fans themselves love seeing a player develop under there clubs wings imagine being a Preston fan and seeing Beckham making a name for himself etc etc. it may be the only chance they have to see a future world class player at there club.

Will this promote youth loans more often? I think so, so nothing will change.

Good idea, poorly executed.

This is the One, I've waited for
