Here's hoping that today is the day that Dobbin comes good for us. His goalscoring record is shite apart from a loan spell at PNE last season, so we're probably gonna need Azaz or Scienza to find a goal from somewhere to help out. But Lewis Dobbin ; make a name for yourself today son. |

You have to consider the fact that we were docked 4 points. Had we not been, we would only be 4 points behind top of the table Boro tonight, so it's not all that bad. I'd be very happy with a point away at West Ham tomorrow if I'm honest - especially as it looks as though we'll be without a couple of key players. That Lankshear is something else at this level btw. Another 2 goals tonight. Pretty sure he'll be the division's top scorer this season... unless Dobbin comes good ;-) [Post edited 23 Oct 22:22]

I thought the same last weekend when Boro dropped 2 points at home to Cardiff in the early kick-off. We did exactly the same later in the day by failing to beat Bolton. What a signing Will Lankshear has turned out to be for Boro. Up front is where Saints's season will be defined this time around. Goals win games as they say - and we seem to be struggling in that department lately... and January is still a long way off. |

If you think that's bad - I watched the game on a stream! To be honest, the 1st half was utter dross - terrible game by both sides. The 2nd half wasn't much better. Thought Wolves had won it - only for the inbreds to score late on, 1-1. Today I have repented by standing naked in my bathroom all morning and repeatedly lashing my back with razor-sharp leersia reeds from the Middle East which have cut me open no end, blood everywhere, lots of it. |

Small world. I used to live in Farncombe as well (Tudor Circle) - albeit a long time ago. My first school was in Farncombe. Me and my older brother used to go to Saturday morning pictures in Godalming while mum n dad went supermarket shopping. My dad was a submariner for 29-years and he transferred to the Austrailian navy for 3-years as he was a sonar expert so we all went to live on the outskirts of Sydney for those 3 years. I was only 5 at the time. My grandad became ill back home in England (he lived in Willow Road, Farncombe), so we upped sticks and moved back to England. The old bugger ended up living for another 16-years thankfully. [Post edited 20 Oct 16:59]

Yep, sounds about right. My mum had seperated from my dad a several months earlier and she was seeing some flash tw@t who ran a pub in Swanwick and was living with him above the pub. I'd only just got back from 6-months at sea when he phoned and said did I want to go. Truth be known the ticket was originally earmarked for one of his mates who couldn't go last minute. I met him at the pub as he'd blagged a couple of tickets for the game from contacts at Saints. He had a flash Datsun 280ZX and thought he was the dogs' bollocks. I had to put up with the bullsh1tting tosspot all the way to Brighton & back. I do recall the game being 1-0 which was a good result but as you say, an otherwise forgetful game. So, grim journey there, grim journey back, pretty grim game - but good result. |

I remember going to Brighton away early 1980's when they played at the Goldstone ground. The floodlight pylons were huge. I'm sure we won 1-0 too (*brainfog alert). |

One of my best mates has been saying for ages that Putin has definitely got something on Trump - hence the 'bromance' between the two. I think he has a point. I'd wager that Trump was indeed on Epstein Island on more than one occassion years ago and someone loyal to Moscow has photos or other concrete evidence of him 'interacting' with some very young & attractive ladies. Hard to believe of course - seeing as Trump is such a gentleman and not some dirty old seedy, sick, genital-grabbing mysoginist, eh. |

Trump is one vindictive bastard who cares about nothing other than money, money, and more money. He's all about lining his own pockets before he gets voted out at the next Presidential election. He said the other week that Europe needs to release billions of barrels of diesel reserves to the market - otherwise he (the US) would stop oil exports. Europe hastily agreed to do so - only for Trump to say the very next evening he was never ever going to stop oil exports anyway. WAC. The whole reason worldwide oil/diesel prices are sky high is because of him and his bodged war in Iran. He's sh1t on Zelensky & Ukraine massively and sided with that other little nutjob Putin. The USA can now be classed as a rogue state in my eyes. He tells Zelensky to stop attacking Russian oil refineries because of the global price - does a worthless deal with Russia to halt attacks on power plants/refineries - and doesn't even tell Zelensky. When the attacks keep happening and Zelensky complains, Trump orders that Starlink be shut down over Ukraine as a punishment. Trump is literally sick in the head. He's nicked Venezuala's vast oil reserves - and Greenlands minerals. He's blockaded Cuba. Who knows his next target? And this is all happening in a desperate measure to do well in the upcoming midterms. The fraud is a (failed) businessman - never a politician. He's obsessed with money for himself and his family. My bet is he is in the Epstein files too and one day, fingers crossed, the truth will prevail. I hate the way he has turned his back on Europe and especially Ukraine. Instead he has cosied up to that poison dwarf Putin for some unknown reason. His posting of that tiger killing that poor lad just typifies the state of the blokes' head ; totally fu@ked up. |

I wake up every day hoping that both of those evil, totally deranged arseholes have been assassinated during the night. I'm still hoping. |

No Flynn Downes and now Larin having to go off after that clash with Bazunu means we're a little light on the pitch. That Scienza missed chance early on was disappointing. You'd expect a player of his ability to score but that's the way it goes sometimes. Bolton are keeping a high line & catching us offside more times than I care to remember. A step up in effort and class second half needed. A very tight game and one that I would geefully take a 1-0 win from today. To coin a phrase ; It's all about the 3 points. COYS! |

Get Larin and Scienza on now for the last 30 minutes. We need to put this game to bed now having taken the lead - not wait until they level things up. |
 | Forum Reply | Norwich City Game Matchday Thread at 20:49 14 Oct 2026
Yeah, I'd get him on for Adams before he gets sent off. He's put a couple of good balls into the box but that booking means he's got to tread carefully. |

5/10 Saints. Gotta up our game and cause them a lot more problems. Nowhere near enough threat so far. Need Larin & Scienza on badly at HT. |
