It doesn't. The comment was more in reference to the fact that the club is more important than the manager (who will live on without us) & sentiment shouldn't cloud our vision if there is a decision to be made. This was all in the aftermath of Saturday's horror show.

Predictable as always.

Next time you quote me - try & engage in a football discussion instead of trying to belittle, bully & intimidate.

Its getting a little tedious.

There you go again getting all personal when replying to a post, purely about the football.

You're a very bitter person aren't you. Pumpkin.

Well I'd imagine being a professional footballer in the Premier League with Middlesbrough over a 7 year period would probably result in a fairly decent income wouldn't you? This was around the time Middlesbrough probably had their greatest era of success in the modern era & had some fairly big names playing for them.

Granted he was never a regular, he still was contracted to a Prem club & his income wouldn't have reduced with the loan spells out.

8 years then playing in the lower leagues, again I would imagine earning a fairly decent income of a couple of grand a week, coupled with 10 years of professional coaching...

I'd imagine he's earned over a million quid during this period, don't you?

Morning Kel! Sorry to disappoint... But here I am! Its cute to know you think of me late at night mind...

Anyway onto the fun stuff.

How bloody refreshing was last night! There was more effort, grit & determination on show for that 90 minutes than the previous 3 months combined. We've really not been asking for much, but in a nutshell last night was much more like it.

Why the hell did things have to get so bad, with the managers destiny very likely being decided by the outcome of last night, before we saw a real change of mentality & will.

Starting Cashman made us unpredictable - there was no way Carlisle's scouts would have thought he would start. How many times have we been unpredictable during this three month turgid spell? Cashman brings a bit of flair, skill, pace & endeavour, without the cowardice of Newby. I feel like this loan will be a feeling of what could of been looking back.

Dooley in the first half was excellent. Positive, forward thinking & dynamic. This first half performance was the sort of thing we all know he is capable of but just doesn't show it enough. Second half he faded slightly & then started with the daft sideways stuff, but we can forgive him for that for once.

The defence was excellent especially EOC & Dorsett (don't think I've ever seen a player improve as much in a season, what a warrior he has become).

Charman, Charman, Charman... Everything we want to see in a centre forward. Strength, pace, skill. He had a bloody tough night against two big centre halves but he did really, really well. The goals will certainly come for him. Campbell scored most of his goals coming in from the left for Woking, so it really begs the question why its taken so long for Charman to be almost forced into the starting line up? Strange.

The first 15 minutes I thought we were absolutely excellent, credit to RS for that.

What could we do differently? I thought Lynch's distribution was garbage throughout & Max Clarke has gone off the boil, especially with the quality of his crosses. If Downing & EOC are fit I'd be considering moving JK back there.

The big question now is can we do something we've not done really for years. Can we achieve some consistency & pick up two wins on the bounce?

Last night was a huge win, given the Oldham result. Looking at the remaining fixtures Oldham & Barrow have the most difficult, Stevenage's future is very much in their own hands given they play almost every team around them.

I’m sad because I care about my club & go against the grain when it comes to our manager.

Sorry I didn’t realise we were living in some sort of communist state.

Thankfully there’s plenty of other Dale fans, publicly agreeing with my train of thought which will hopefully stop the disastrous rot your chosen manager is leading us to.

Like I would waste any of my time on you.

You know what you’ve been doing and it’s been clear for all to see

Cute that someone had to text you and you were straight on the message board to comment to me on a Saturday night.

No veiled threats for me.

Me and you have many mutual friends I believe.

I just find the trolling from you and another quite repetitive and personal, hence the face to face comment.

Ok my bad. He was 100% involved in the coaching set up with Beech and definitely one of the main coaches along with Lee Riley under BBM.

If he wanted to be a leader he’s had ample opportunity to do so, which was my original point before the usual clown started attacking me as usual.

Jim is the most logical successor in the current camp in my opinion. Didn’t need an argument and I would hazard a guess that most would agree with that.

“Gloating at the demise of a decent bloke” WTF. Are you alright? When did a millionaire, former footballer become more important than our club? This clueless manager is leading us into a relegation battle, something I’ve been clearly pointing out for weeks (being one of the only voices of reason amongst the madness following the shite that’s been served).

I think it’s quite funny how listening to the unofficial podcast all the lads on there pretty much agree with everything I’ve been saying, yet you and Kel haven’t abused them like you have me? Strange.

I’ll have the temerity to call you whatever the hell I like after the way you and your little mate have insulted & singled me out on here in recent weeks. I’m more than happy to do so in the flesh as well if you like?

“Where do you get this rubbish from”

Ellis was front and centre with Beech during the disastrous Bogdanovic & Ormerod phase. Clearly you’re getting a little senile and prefer insulting me instead of being competent of remembering the past.

If he was going to be a manager, I’m fairly certain he’d have made the leap by now. Hence why I believe Jim is the logical internal appointment.

Hey ho. Not like to you ti patronising and demeaning for a change ey. Gimp.

Oh here we go.

Who was Beech’s right hand man during his dreadful caretaker role?

Stockdale has to go. Who would you see come in and see us through the season?

Just because you don’t like McNulty as a player doesn’t mean he has nothing to offer as a coach.

He’s been one of the better leaders within the club for years, understands what we’re about and also knows the DNA of the club.

Ellis has tried and failed in the past, we need someone as a caretaker to the end of the season who already knows the squad, knows the capabilities and weakness’ and what’s required to get us through to June.

I’d love to hear who you deem more qualified than Jim to fill this role?

And he’s had two transfer windows to address this.

Everyone with half a brain knew we needed a CDM in January, instead we signed Ball who is far more offensive (decent mind) but still not addressing the clear deficiencies within our squad. How many mistakes can one manager make before people realise we need to cut ties?

My eyes let me down looking back apologies you are correct.

I still don’t think at any point this season any of us have had the confidence to think “yeah we’re a decent side”

We had a couple of decent early results and we’re then easily dealt with by the opposition, something that is still ongoing now in March.

Let’s make no mistakes - we are a terrible league two side. Does this manager deserve any more time to sort out this mess?

Now is the ideal time where we can make a change and hopefully stay up, then bring someone in who can have the entirety of pre-season to do as they see fit.

Anything else and you are open to the excuses we have had to endure this season.

Board of directors… Please act now.

“Seven months ago was the end of August. When we looked perfectly ok.“ Our first league win of the season came on September 11th. Things weren’t OK on the first game of the season, they weren’t OK at the end of august either. They’ve only ever been OK for a couple of games following the results at Northampton & Port Vale.

We’ve been utter sh1te for the majority of the season. I know a lot of reasonable & patient Dale fans who have seen today as a turning point to do what’s right and remove this useless manager from this club.

Agree with everything you say other than Clarke

He is absolutely awful. The product he delivered throughout that game today was pathetic. No quality whatsoever and plenty of opportunity to do so.

Keohane scored 10 goals (I think) from LWB last season… When was the last time RS played him there???

More clueless, ineptitude from a pathetic management duo.

I’m not having a go but we’ve spent 7 months making excuses for this bloke, because he comes across as a nice guy.

If we do survive this season, who the hell is going to get relegated ahead of us next season if big hitters come up?

Stockdale will not take this club forward, next season will not be better than this. What you’re seeing is what you’ll get.

If the club do not take immediate action we are in trouble.

It finally feels like a lot of other fans are finally waking up to the dire situation we are in.
