|Blog ||A Hollywood script plays out in the Spotland sun|

It isn’t always easy being a Rochdale supporter. With the majority of the town’s footballing interest being soaked up by local behemoths Manchester City and Manchester United, the club’s attendances rarely break 3,000 home supporters.

Has retired. One of the best we've had in a Dale shirt in recent times and certainly the most successful afterwards.

Pennock leaves Gills.
Sheridan leaves Owdum.
|Bury perspective on the season ticket offer|
at 14:37 22 Mar 2017
The best thing I've read on the internet for quite some time.
"Its obvious they are petrified about our emergence which could be the death of their club.
We will have a Shiny fashionable new stadium, scintillating championship football, a wonderful match day experience, clean toilets that work and a brand everyone in the immediate area and beyond will want to be associated with.
They can try all these incentives but this season ticket attempt is in effect a death twitch. They will always be in our superior glorious shadow which is going to get bigger, darker and now ultimately terminal from their perspective.
No doubt they will come to watch us when the inevitable does happen, every silver cloud has a grey lining I suppose !"

I know most of you will have seen this elsewhere but I think it's worth noting that our very own TVOS has been among the awards again this year:
The effort Mark puts in can sometimes go unnoticed but I think all of us who regularly buy and read the programme seriously appreciate the work that goes into making an excellent programme for every game and one I personally thoroughly enjoyed contributing to a few years ago.
Well done TVOS and keep up the good work!
|Bionic Dale Player|

Came across this article on the Gloucestershire live site after reading the link on DDB's thread about Trevor Kettle: http://www.gloucestershirelive.co.uk/we-re-building-a-bionic-robin-the-best-comp
Thought it would be a good idea for a thread on here about a Dale player. Categories are:

|Wigan v Dale live stream|
at 11:43 24 Mar 2016
For those out of the country, there's a live stream of the Wigan v Dale game on bet365's live streaming schedule.
It's not available in the UK and you will have to sign up and put money in your account but might be worth it for those of you who don't usually get a chance to watch.

New pitch. Heavy rain. Problems perhaps?

Still 2/3 signings that Keith wants. Does anyone know who they might be?

If you had to pick 10 players and 10 players only from the club's history to describe as 'Rochdale legends' who would they be?

No change of plans for Barnsley I hope. So often we expect the players to 'do it for the fans' but next Saturday, we need to 'do it for the players.'
A big turn-out in pink pants and Hilly masks making a load of noise and showing our appreciation for this fantastic team and the effort they have put in this season would be a perfect way to end the campaign. Especially if we can grab a win and confirm our highest ever league finish. Bring it on, should be a great day regardless of today's result.
