For years Bowlee has been suggested as a potential site for a training ground. How wonderful it is that we now have owners and people involved who can get people 'round a table' and make things happen. I never thought I would see it in my lifetime, now it looks like it's a reality! |

Sign up for DAZN National League mate. But be sure to cancel the subscription after the game. Believe it's quite pricey if you let it lapse. |

Stanmore for me. Just a few stops from Wembley Park and also has a massive car park. |

Absolutely horrible. I've struggled to think of anything except this game. I can't wait for the whole circus of it to be over. |

Sorry to hear about the awful things you've had to endure this year. Let's hope Saturday is the last awful thing you have to endure and it ends with us having our moment in the sun. There's lots of things which have happened, lots of positive signs, lots of positive omens... But there's still a job to do. Let's hope these players can muster every ounce of energy to get over that line. We have NOTHING to lose and should go out and play with freedom and intent. Get at York and have it out. |

I don't care if we give the worst performance of the season tomorrow as long as we get three points. No silly changes, no silly decisions... Let's get through it and set ourselves up for what could be one of the most incredible (or soul destroying) games we see in our lives. |

Yep. If there was 2 or 3 automatic spots it wouldn't be so bad but it really is stomach churning stuff. There's no room for slip ups now. We can only hope the players continue what they've been doing all season and maintain a relentless and ruthless attitude. |

Can't understand why everyone is getting so wound up over this? Why offer opposition teams any kind of psychological advantage when they come to our place? A full stand of 3500 fans, outnumbering our own? No thank you. We're trying to get promoted and we should do whatever it takes. Even if that means doing ourselves out of potential income. That money will be a distant memory if we go up. Correct decision. |

Best form of defence is attack. We need to be going at all three teams from the start and make it a situation where regardless of who is in net, we'll win. Borehamwood showed how vulnerable York are when you attack them and we need to (and can) exploit that. |

The trust has had its day. I was a member but won't be renewing my membership with it in its current guise. The Trust has been needed and has been vital to the survival of the club at times. Through the hard work and dedication of the volunteers who have come and gone. I do feel however, that it's no longer fit for purpose and should be disbanded. There's other supporter groups doing the work the Trust should be doing and more. Dale1907 & Her Game Too groups are visible and making real efforts to forge connections between the fans and the club/team. What are the trust doing? Other than asking people to pay money for a membership card? |

Could it finally be happening? Suggested as a site for decades... Taken from the CAB meeting minutes; Rochdale Bourgh Council have in principle agreed the use of the land at Bowlee Middleton for the purpose of a training ground. However, this is only the start of the process with planning permission to go ahead before any further developments can take place. |

Spot on. Perhaps this weekend has highlighted the issue faced with laying rain covers on a flat pitch... The rainwater is always going to sit, pool and ultimately find its way onto the pitch itself. I appreciate that the inflatable domes we've seen before are costly but long term, surely that's the solution to prevent all pitch related postponements? If we're looking to spend £1.3m on a brand new pitch, lets make sure we have the tools on hand to look after it. https://www.covermaster.com/Ma This is what we need. |
 | Forum Reply | Is McNulty the 'worse manager we've ever had' at 09:29 26 Aug 2025
McNulty is one of the most frustrating managers we've had. He frustrates the f**king life out of me and I don't really like his style but you can't be labelling him as a terrible manager. |
 | Forum Reply | 3 games in - Brilliant so far at 11:51 21 Aug 2025
Based on the way we're playing and the quality we have in the squad, I'm expecting us to go 5 wins out of 5. We have incredible momentum. I've been very critical of McNulty and wanted him sacked at various points last season. The football was slow, boring and ultimately... Unsuccessful. I couldn't be more delighted to be having McNulty proving me wrong. It looks as though he's learned lessons. And the signings he's brought in are allowing him to play the way he has always wanted to. Fair play. I hope to be drafting my public apology in 6 months. Just as a side note... I'm loving the aggression we're showing. 2 games in the last 5 days and we've had 2 scraps/fights. Before then I can't remember the last time we were so involved and 'up for it'. I'm sick to death of winning the fair play award so this stands us in good stead to avoid winning it again. Up The Dale! |

Off the top of my head... Hop & Vine (Food) / Cap & Whippet (Drinks) next door to each other in Norden. Flying Horse in the town centre. Spotland Bridge mills, Millabout & Twisted Mule as mentioned previously. Winston Churchill Harvester tends to be decent food. Hare & Hounds opposite the Churchill also good food. |

The announcements aren't the issue. It's the fact that in the Sandy Lane, they're inaudible. You can't hear a single word that's being said. As EllDale mentions, if it came to an emergency situation, people would not be able to hear any instructions whatsoever. |
