Ollies last start was the 1st Nov, very limited minutes off the bench since so I suspect we have triggered a recall, no point in him being there.
I think that we will use him from the bench until we either have players back from injury and or loan/permanent signings in when he will probably go out on loan again. |

Thats the biggest reason why hes been recalled, that and the fact that wigan arent using him and we have got a few injuries. |

That was because of ours and their substitutions.
Melker did a sterling job as a false 9 but ateotd he isnt a natural goalscorer, he was put there to disrupt, when he was taken off and vip went up front the intensity of our press dropped allowing WBA to push forward.
Even though it was a fantastic goal, we were lucky in a way to win the game, if that shot hadn't have gone in I suspect they could have pushed on and created more chances, the goal seemed to knock the stuffing out of them and iirc they didnt create much after our goal, in fact it was us who looked more likely to score. |

And because yalcouye hasnt played 90 mins, there was no way he could keep up that intensity for that amount of time. |

He did alot more defensive work besides that challenge.
Its just some dont see the defensive side of the game, they only look at attack.
Our defence is one thing that matos has come concentrated on.
Its probably the biggest reason that ronald is in the first 11 and stays on for the full 90 mins. |

They were still on top until the goal.
Its a bit fortunate we scored as the game could have ended differently.
As an aside mason was having a right go at the ref and his team at the end of the game about the goal.
Its lucky the ref didnt see ronalds challenge as a foul as quite a few would have. |

Yes both teams substitutions made it better for them until fultons worldie.
I dont think anyone, especially you, saw that coming 😉
Thought yalcouye and especially melker played very well but my mom was vigaroux, he made some great saves, especially couple in their 15 minute purple patch.
If we get another RB and a winger we can hopefully keep this form up. |

Yes, agreed on the winning but I just dont get the misery on this line up, we hae a limited squad, we have one striker out and another false 9 out.
We dont see what goes on in training, wales is playing lots of minutes in the u23s and hasn't had a look in at the first team for a reason, he is seen not to be upto yet.
Some people think because hes a striker he should be played, dont take this the wrong way id trust our coaching team before anyone on here. |
