Defeat today means Sheffield Wednesday can now be relegated away against Sheffield United.
Would be a cruel end to a very cruel season for them. |

There is a player there. We saw it last season, we saw it at the start of this season. But since his International break, he has not been the same.
Understand he has come back from an injury so that may have had an effect yesterday - but we did also see form drop off pre-injury.
He was visibly upset at his performance on international break earlier in the season - could it be a mental block after that? Whoever spoke to Madsen during summer should get on the case with Koki if so.
He puts the effort in, and clearly loves playing football. I do hope he finds his form again. |

Another uninspiring performance, and I do feel like Stephan has to figure out how to gain control in away games.
However - our last three away games have all been draws, and in previous seasons I believe would have all been losses in similar circumstances. Drawing away is not something to be sniffed at, especially if you win at home, which we seem to be doing well at (bar a last minute madness against Wrexham).
Take it, move on. Beat Blackburn, it's a good point. Lose, it's a bad one. |

Fantastic win and performance.
Definitely not a time to be negative but a little gripe in that had we just survived injury time last week we would currently be sitting in the play offs - but fantastic to not let our heads go down following that shock |

Genuinely wouldn't be surprised if we see double digit bids for him in the summer.
May be the high of that game but he seems to have the class of a Premier League player for me - cannot believe I am writing that after last season. |

Just come on here to say the exact same thing. For a team eight points clear of 3rd and playing against a team they beat 7-1 in the reverse fixture, they sound more pessimistic than some QPR fans under Ainsworth.

I personally find it very strange, but they have had their fair share of agonising Premier League promotion attempts, so letting it slip from their position in December would be pretty disastrous. |

Spent five minutes confused trying to figure out where it was. Went onto Sky Sports Football, nothing there. Turned to Main Event assuming it's been put on there, still nothing. For me it's the biggest game of the day! |

I understand it's probably not the most relevant discussion point today - but what is it with QPR and our fixation with having a minus goal difference?!
I'm sure some stats person can correct me if I'm wrong, but from some quick research I believe the last time we had a positive goal difference (excluding 0) was DECEMBER 28TH 2022. Just over three years ago.
This season we have been teetering on it for about two months, but can't seem to get into positive numbers.
If anything it demonstrates that we are much more prone to a thrashing than a demolition job.
I don't know why, but I find it infuriating.

Win on Saturday and we could be 2nd in the form guide over the last four, being unbeaten in all and potentially keeping a clean sheet in all of them.
Think you can pick and choose form guides to suit narratives - why does the past six have more of an effect on the past 4/8/12? The past 28 form guide has us 12th, 3 points off play offs.
I understand there has been some poor performances recently, but I see it as an injury hit mid table team, having a typical mid table team blip - which every team will have gone through. Frustrating? Yes. But a real worry? Let's be concerned if we are still playing like this in 10 games with all the team back [Post edited 22 Jan 22:55]
