Sensible move from Sky. Recover some of the costs and create an advert on free tv for the product. If ITV get some decent games it could work well for them both.
Problem is that they can't. The expansion of the european competitions has taken extra weeks out of the available calendar. If a team in one of those uefa competitions is drawn against one in another uefa competition then there's no week to hold the match. They'd have to put out a second team like Liverpool had to a couple of years ago.
It might cause more issues in later rounds too but they've pushed that problem down the road.
EFL Cup for EFL teams. Prize is a day out at Wembley and a place in the Europa Conference. What's not to like?
"For League Matches only, the Away Club shall be entitled to a commission representing 5 (five) per cent of the aggregate sales (exclusive of VAT) of tickets sold on behalf of the Home Club, unless otherwise agreed between the Clubs."
Not a year but this already exists. Cameron introduced it I believe. It's called NCS and is done over a few weeks for 16 year olds. My kids both did it. https://wearencs.com/
This nonsense they are talking about today just shows how clueless they really are. It's unworkable and everyone knows it. It's just to take attention away from their awful start to the election campaign. Don't fall for it.
McKenna was the U18 coach at Man U before he took on Ipswich so I'm sure he'd be going in there with his eyes open. I have a feeling Ipswich are going to really struggle whether he's there or not so jumping now makes sense to me.
Seems that Rohl may well have signed a new contract with the Owls, I'm surprised there's not more talk about him for a Brighton or similar. Doing the job he did in that club, with that owner would arguably have him as the 2nd best Championship manager last season ahead of Marti.
If the transcript is right there's a lot of "how brilliant we are", "I'm in it for the greater good", "everyone else is evil" in what she has said. Chinny reckon.
C? No, sorry. The saves he did make in some games have just lifted him from getting an E. D is the right score.
He isn't what we need to have sitting on the bench as a backup either. We can surely do better.
Also, he may have been a decent sort in the dressing room but making him captain was Gaz's mistake and letting him keep the captaincy was one of Marti's few errors. He was too quiet on the pitch and we need to have someone in the refs ear a lot, lot more.
Family stand. Row K backwards is dry even if it's pouring down.
Choose the front if they don't mind being wet occasionally as the price to pay for being closer to the players, mascots and some of the giveaways that the club put on.
I'm not a fan of those 'don't let the door hit your arse on the way out' messages to departing players but for Dozzell I'd make an exception. Living off one decent pass and one thunderbastard for 3 years proving he can do it but just can't be bothered is stealing a living.
I've changed my mantra, it's now... If you can't say anything good about someone say nothing, unless it's Andre Dozzell.
23rd May last year is when the loyalty window opened and it ran to 30th June. The season finished about the same time as this year so on that basis I'd expect that details will be released next week or the week after?
