Blackburn Reflection
at 11:18 15 Feb 2026

To be honest I thought Blackburn were pretty decent yesterday, they were tactically and physically stronger than us. Watching them line up in the 2nd half they basically had all 6ft plus players in the whole team against our midgets. Our recruitment still lacks the height and strength needed to be really serious contenders in this division.

Ewood'nt believe it if i told you... BUT QPR vs Blackburn Rovers match thread
at 20:30 14 Feb 2026

I agree Blackburn tactically and physically much stronger than us, beaten by a team better set up than us. Our mistakes were punished, theirs never led to anything for us. Lot of square pegs in round holes QPR team in my opinion, probably not helped by the injuries. Bennie and Vale really off the pace of the game and Blackburn's no.25 probably the best player.

Poor today, they took their chances, we created nothing. Blackburn's no.25 rang rings round us and being their smallest player headed in the killer 3rd goal. Can't understand why Smyth did not start today on the right as Bennie had a bit of a mare, and really should have been subbed at half time. Hope Madsen injury not too bad as it did not look good.

THOMAS FRANK SACKED...
at 11:46 11 Feb 2026

Although I find Frank annoying, he had a good number and set up at Brentford, of which Keith Andrews is continuing to deliver, well at least for this season. Spurs have just become a corporate venture, stadium, NFL, concerts and a football team.

Where is Poku?
at 07:40 11 Feb 2026

I can see why we took a gamble on Poku, hopefully it works out for him at QPR but at the moment it is not looking too promising on him being available in the near future.

Where is Poku?

He has had hamstring injuries for over a year now, missed 3 months with Peterborough last season requiring surgery. Hopefully he can get fit, but it is not beyond the realms of probability why we were able to sign him and others passed on the opportunity, if he is injury prone and with dodgy hamstrings.

Where is Poku?

The fanfare regarding his signing, unable to play a full game, makes a cameo appearance then has a hamstring, always injured, what is going on with Poku? Hope it's not another Taylor Richards type signing!

Eze Thread - Sorry People !!
at 14:31 10 Feb 2026

Some good points here, Eze is a flair type player that's why he suited and developed that with us, further enhanced at Palace. Problem is that Arsenal sort of don't do flair players and if those of you old enough to remember Charlie Nicholas for them in the 80s, his career never really took off at Arsenal as expected. Always felt that Spurs would have been a better fit for Eze, they like flair players like we do at that club and he probably would have thrived there as the team could have been built around him, while at Arsenal they already have the players and system.

Dembele and Obikwu out for Charlton game
at 11:51 9 Feb 2026

Shame about Dembele, all the best for a good recovery for him. To be honest the position on Poku has concerned me most this season, we were led to believe he was a fantastic prospect, but he has just spent the whole season bar a few cameo appearances on the treatment table.

Marshalled the defence along with Dunne superbly, both now on same wavelength tightened up really well at the back, especially away from home.

Much improved and it is good to see, the potential seen in him when he was signed by Warburton is now coming to fruition.

Don't be Addicks - Charlton Athletic vs QPR Match Thread
at 22:23 6 Feb 2026

Neither side really offered much in this game, we have become difficult to beat away from home, which is good, a point is fine. But the football away from home is pretty anemic, but then again important not to lose, especially with our injury list.

Always remember that great winner at Luton about 18 months ago, he had a superb game that night.

Madsen opened up at a pre-season interview that it was a very difficult first season for him and that he was going all out to improve. Look at him now, playing some great stuff, controlling and much stronger. Well done Nico you have certainly improved and delivered what you said you would.

Sent to Coventry (hopefully not again) QPR vs Coventry Match Thread

After last week's last 5 minute collapse against Wrexham in game we should have held onto to win, think Coventry will be a tougher prospect. Unfortunately not at LR today just hoping we try and get on the front foot and get a result. Could be a decent game this one. Hope for a Rangers win but can see Coventry being a bit too strong for us and nicking it 2-1.

Christian Nourry - Two Year Anniversary

How everything is so over complicated these days in modern football, an industry that is just so bloated. I love going to the Rangers, but back in the glorious Venables days of the early to mid 80s and back to the Sexton/Jago days of the 1970s you had about 14 players tops, hardly any major injuries etc, having to deal with mud pitches, plastic pitches and industrial type tackles. The modern footballer to me seems over trained, overpaid and made of glass.

Exactly, missed a real opportunity to kick on with him. He has done pretty well at all the clubs he has gone to since leaving us. Always liked the Warburton/Eustace ticket and rather hoped that when Warbs time as manager finished that Eustace would take over with Warbs moving into a director of football role.

Millwall sign Barry Bannan 18 month contract
at 18:56 28 Jan 2026

Great player at this level, but does not fit the profile of what we seem to be about, although think his signing for Millwall could get them over the line for a serious crack at promotion via the play offs. Just think 4 years ago if we had signed a Barry Bannan type player rather than Jeff Hendrick and Dion Sanderson when we could have seriously troubled the play offs.

The one that really baffles me this season is Pokku, all the fanfare over his signing and spent all of the season so far on the treatment table. He can't manage even 20 mins of a game without getting a non contact injury, something seems very off to me.
