"West Wales" is a BBC invention. It was adopted to avoid using the alien word 'Dyfed' which includes a none English f for the v sound.
The BBC English accepted the word 'Gwent' but not Gwynedd or Clwyd.
Today's "West Wales " is now understood to be the old Dyfed by default.
It is in fact 'South West Wales[. |

I do not wonder at all. The main man is at Fairwood or the Swansea .com stadium most days I would expect. (speculation). Would imagine Williams speaks to Mr Coleman or Ken most days over chilli con carne in the refectory.
Talking to Mr Reynolds and 'the Yank' was a one off event. There is little trade to be between the two as they are now too close to each other. Pedersen on loan perhaps? |

Wrexham as ex FA cup QF have a much bigger EFL history than Merthyr. If their target is the EPL then good on them. They probably need a major financial backer and these are in short supply in Wales.
I just think they are more suited to the LoW where they would be big hitters. For the last decade or two they have been getting nowhere. |

I raised the IOC as it is in effect the supported by Lottery funding.
Opera Museums art should be funded by the Lottery. We can afford anything we like as we are massively wealthy but lacking cash and tax income. UK wealth is tied up in assets particularly property. A property tax is long overdue.
The Olympics is run by the elite of the elite world class freeloader all funder by the taxpayer.
They are also dictator friendly. London was the most crooked ever but the BBC bigged it up as the best of all time. |

It s does not take a rocket scientist to see football in England and Wales is blatantly unfair and run on the basis of dubious non competitive practices.
You will ask why has Manchester city got over 100 charges to answer.It is because they have been asleep at thew heel for most of the violations and only woke up when the government felt their collar and threatened a regulator.
Swansea fans are calling for Wood to be sold cheaply a laughable £2m mentioned. Chelsea would probably sell Humphreys to Swansea for nothing less than £5m. This is the business model. Rinse and squeeze the smaller clubs.
Swansea are now losing Iwan Morgan and possibly Sam Parker for pennies in the pound. |

These people are super elite and some never done a day's work in their lives including HRH Princess Anne. Wherever they go the get the very best of everything all paid for indirectly by the taxpayers. HRH would resign if standards drop and the wine quality drops.
When Manchester went for it back in the day it a was purely privately funded. They had no chance because the UK government would not guarantee its finacial success.
These freeloaders will only work if they have access to private funds. Being a dictator does not matter if the games are underwritten by the state.
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24 2022. They delayed the slaughter of children until the children of China had done "the dance of peace" at the Chinese winter Olympics which finished on the 22 Of February.
The WNO and he like should be covered by Lottery funding not the grim sports people shaving 0.001 second off their PB. |

Brexit runs into the new modern phenomena of non experts getting into politics like Trump Farage and Boris.
The courted popularity due to the personalities but were lacking in policies. People trusted non experts and distrusted those with qualifications. This was partly justified in Covid 19 where clearly the Chinese Government are to blame and should be paying part 'goodwill'
reparations.
The lies over Iraq have been disastrous. In this non trusting environment conspiracy theories prevail and dim sportsmen can try to determine government policy. |

Wales needs a national airport. Welsh people like to shut down their own facilities. I gets my goat when dme one from East Anglia tells me the same.
It, like Swansea city makes loses as well. Fans want quick a quick fix and a new owner. I do not want a quick fix but for the Airport and SCFC to work harder and become profitable.
The airport is subsidised by the Wesh taxpayer but it provides a useful service. SCFC losses are funded by US investors. I am grateful to both and I use and love both of these loss making concerns. |

Life is more about getting born surviving having children getting sick and dying after 80 years. There must be a role for the finer parts of life. Art, performance, culture , sport. School children should be given cheap or free tickets. We are not run by Pol Pot.
I personally would dump state sponsoring of Olympic sports cost billions via the Lottery. Better to use this cash for art and culture exclusively. I worked out every Olympic medal cost £12m with a fag packet calculation. |

Every state needs Opera. When people do not like something they say " would not the money be better spent on the NHS" .It is true but justification for not doing anything.
The Sennedd made the Museum free entry then complain it is costing too much. Tourists go to Museum and the Opera. Swansea fans then play the second city card. WNO would have shows in Swansea presumably. Library services Opera Museums are soft services but necessary. |

These practices are anti competitive against the Sovereign Wealth fund teams . These teams hoover up all available talent with excessive wages. Get other coaching teams to nurture them for free while charging a fee. They then bring them back for pre season and when ready sell for a big fee even adding a feature for a share of future profits.
The system is ensuring the rich become richer and clubs Swansea get poorer. As usual the EPL /EFL have no thinkers about making the league more competitive and giving the real teams with budget restrictions half a chance. |

So was Guhey for three or four games remember. Cooper gave him time as they had a background together. Cooper should have done the same with Gyokeres and told the club to make an offer.
Cooper is a great manager but made a howler there. Fans are obsessed with blaming Levien for everything and showing no patience in developing talent except playera who accept low wages but are league 2. |

I was pointing out that the club should not undervalue 20 year olds with talent and potential. Wood as worth £10m because of his enormous potential not his current form. Wood is a big lad and very fast and an England u21 international. He now has over 50 games to his name and is only going to get better,
I gave an example of Gyorkeres as an example of this muddled thinking. Gyorkeses was strong on the ball quite quick and coud head the ball. Cooper said he had potential but he chose to use Lowe who had no future upside. It is irrelevant how much I had seen of him.
I give my opinion and give examples to support my argument where possible. |
