I dont think it was a testimonial it was a mid season friendly against a team Alan Ball was manager of i think Montreal Blizzard or something like that |

Dobbin is proven at Championship level, the issue is that Mubama isn't working and he is a centre forward in the style that Tonda wants to play, Jay Robinson certainly isn't nor is Dobbin |

I saw a couple of videos myself and it seems that when Newcastle went to Sunderland, it was easier to manage as those that went by Metro were taken to a station near the Stadium of Light and so not in the city centre, so they could easily escort them the short distance to the ground.
But for Sunderland going to Newcastle it was a lot harder, because the train station is in the City centre and they had to be escorted right through the city centre and there were a lot of flashpoints |

I think those in Bournemouth are more nimby than us and finding somewhere to plonk a big football stadium and not harm either the environment or annoy the potential local residents is even harder than it was down here |

I am not pointing the blame at anybody here, this is a general call out for everyone to be respectful to everyone else.
Let's cut out the name calling and abuse before it does get out of hand as it has done in the past.
Everyone has a right to their opinion, I don't agree with everything said on here, but I don't remove posts purely because I don't agree with them, nor do i ban people just for having a different viewpoint from me.
In fact I probably get more abuse than most people, but I'm quite thick skinned and not everyone else is.
So it doesn't matter what someone said years ago, we all have a right to an opinion and we all have a right to change it for whatever reason.
A bit of banter is fine, but lets cut out the name calling and insults , tell someone you think their view is cr*p by all means but leave it at that.

In fairness Calum Chambers did look like he could be a top player when he played for us, going to Arsenal wasn't a bad move, but he has had a decent career, 181 Premier League games plus 3 England Caps, out of a career total 316 games isn't bad. |

To be honest is there anyone on here that has NOT made a prediction about a player in the past that has turned out to be totally wrong.
Either they have been predicted to be poor or brilliant.
Thats football for you, different opinions it would be a boring game without them |

I dont thing we have ever played a pre season friendly at the Emirates, we did however play them at St Mary's in the summer of that year |
