I’m a Dale exile living near Scunthorpe. Re the comments on Keith Hill, local fans I know don’t blame him. Scunthorpe’s decline began about 4 years ago. They blame the former owner, and are convinced that if ownership hadn’t changed earlier this season they would not have a club today. |

Absolutely fantastic. Reading the club statement the work of the Board in terms of time, effort, enthusiasm and financial comitment has been remarkable, and they have delivered a fan owned club out of the debris left by Bot et al that is financially secure. A heartfelt thanks from this supporter for this amazing achievement. |

Agree entirely. We have a proud reputation as a friendly club. I know there are some agent provocateurs posting as usual, but we fans need to be fully behind the club (players, management and board) who have carried us through the most turbulent time in our history. We are 5 matches into the season, and we all want success on the pitch, so please, let’s give the team our support at a time when they really need it. |
