I met Ted on one or two occasions, when I was with an acquaintance who was also on this board back in the day - Even back then he was introduced as the 'legendary' Ted from LFW.
For me, as many have said I always enjoy the way Ted was direct. Not sure are allowed to say this nowadays but I'll say it anyway, he was not afraid to call a spade a spade. Nothing gets dressed up when he posts - And if you dont like it, well thats a you problem. However there was no abuse, he didnt need to as his point had been made.
Hospices are great places although extremely underfunded (hence why Mrs Superhoops is fundraising for one with her marathon). The care is second to none and if he cannot be at home then he is in the next best place.
Thinking of you Ted and lets make this season for you
P.S Thanks for the update Stuart |

For me - Poor day in the office against a really good side.
Move on and bring on the next game. We know we can play better than that so time to move on. Not gonna beat the side up for only their 2nd defeat in 11
Dont think JS will let that performance appear too often |

Dont feel the front 4 have looked very comfortable - Poku with that pass to Kolli for our only shot on target is disappointing
Hopefully we will have a better second half. Need Mbengue in there giving the HT team talk |

Exactly what I said the other day about Kolli... Do the basics dont try fancy things as you will get into trouble
And we looked so relaxed and now we are chasing |

Think I said at the start of the season, at least one side from the last lot that dropped would do a Luton & Leicester and Burnley look like they will fit that bill perfectly - A manager that does not know the championship with a basket load of players |

Last night I was more gutted about Mbengue and really felt for him
But it is nice to have decent players for that position without us having to panic - Adamson has looked the real deal in that position [Post edited 15 Oct 20:44]

What do you mean?
If you are referring to your lovechild, I have been even with what I thought, he was good in places, but that move on the edge of the box was stupid and we would criticise anyone had there been a free kick given. Its good to want to make amends for an error but not fly in to a rash challenge
Its not a blinkered view it is a fair summary of his performance last night - I am clearly not alone, but how would you view his performance, I am all ears - You can't make snide comments without a constructive discussion |

If you had been up against an England International for 70 minutes just 5 days ago and then giving it all for 45 mins in the next match whilst still not fully up to speed I think you would look 'a bit agricultural with the ball at times'
As I said, once fully fit he will be exactly what we need - As others said, Cirkin will be a good release for him once back so we are not hammering him game after game. |

Seen many suggestions that he was MoM last night - Not mine (that was Edwards) but he deserves his own thread surely.
He has played less than 180 minutes of championship football and has taken to it like a well fitted glove. Really does not look out of place and once fully fit I really think he will be the signing of the season. He had a blinder against Wet Spam with Bowen being kept quiet and last night had the freedom to boss that left hand side and push forward. That flick to Alfie for the first goal was delightful.
LB's are hard to come by, hell we have been through them, but think he is the real deal and really glad he is ours and not a loan |

He looks better on the right hand side too - more natural and I also think a lot of credit once again must go to JS who has got him playing to a higher level.
Some posters, including some on this very thread have criticised his crossing but I think it has much improved too |

Oak you must have read my mind as I was thinking about having reached the 10 game mark this morning
For me the best bits are:
1) one defeat in ten - And lets be fair we could have got a draw
2) 2nd best defence in the league, and for me that is the most important part
3) Consistently maintaining a place in the play offs
But the most exciting thing for me is the squad togetherness. They really seemed downbeat when Mbengue was injured last night and JS said it had tainted the victory last night.
I am quite happy to be sailing under the radar, and JS keeping everyone level headed and not building expectations. I find this side so enjoyable to watch at the moment, so well drilled and disciplined at the moment - I really think that JS and Nourry have constructed a good squad and very solid mentality around the place at the moment and whilst I am not sure we are near ready to be promoted it would be nice to be in the mix
LB has posted on another thread that if we are in this position come January then we should be attracting some players to give us the final push on and I certainly agree with that |
