Agreed, this subbing players out because they need to be looked after and replacing them with players who then get injured themselves, is a head scratcher to say the least. Paul Smyth and Boy Kemper were fantastic. Kemper had Bowen in his pocket and Smyth was causing them problems all match. Lamptey you just knew when he over stretched for a ball, he was done and Vale just didnt get going at all. And then, when you need calm heads, Mbengue is the last player you need coming on.
Having said that, before the game, Id have taken a draw all week and twice on Sunday. |

Well, effectively played the last 15 with 10 men and held on somehow... great result youd have to say. If only we can keep players fit, we've have won that. |

A great result, what a way to win it as well.
I went to Esher Rugby today, beat Barnes who've been a thorn in the arse for years now. Beautiful day to be outside, a few beers and a good game. |

Needs to be more England games at Wembley on a Saturday night. The difference in atmosphere is plain tonsee.
All those boring mid week and Friday night games totally kill the vibe.
This has been a very good watch. |
