Its time to voice our opinion on the Terraces
at 14:13 15 Jan 2013

Like i have pointed out before our club does not have the money to splash out on making management positions available. The board have made their choice and that decision lies on them. Admittadley i am not a season ticket holder but if i was, i would not be happy with the money i was putting into the club for it to be wasted on jollys for failed managers. At the same time there is no point going to games with the intention of booing the team, this is counterproductive and goes against the ethos of supporting our football club. If people feel this way they might as well go and watch Man United or dare i say it bury. We have been in this position before with Eyre and then Beech and people wanted out because around the corner are bigger and better things. The truth of the matter is for a club of the stature of Rochdale this simply is not true, its not that i don't have ambitiions for the club or a desire for our club to succeed its just that our club is dictated by poor attendances, less than perfect balance sheets, overall we have been spoilt rotten over the last few years. Whatever anybody says the current position of the team is better than it was under Parkins secons spell, Simpson and Barrow and maybe that is something we should be grateful for.

Losing faith, or still behind him
at 11:42 9 Jan 2013

o.k for all those asking to replace Coleman who shall we replace him with?, who might want the job and where will the money come from to compensate Coleman and Bell as well as employ a new managerial team? If anyone knows the answers to these please tell the board and also show them were this hidden pot of treasure is so that they can do something about it, which is not endangering to our beloved football club.

Its time to stop protecting this Manager ,Simple answer Coleman OUT
at 10:37 8 Jan 2013

Anyone who thinks Coleman will be leaving before the season is out is deluded. There is no way that the board would act again after getting rid of Steve Eyre in such similar fashion. I understand individuals frustrations but there is just no way there is money in the pot to try and start again and to be honest as a club it makes us look like a joke. We have no choice but to try and get behind Coleman until the end of the season and then reassess it from there. I think our saving grace is that there are several poorer clubs in the division this season. Ask yourself who else would want this job at the moment and please nobody even say Hill. I know it is disappointing and that expectations have not been met and the form is completley out of the window. 2 wins in 9 is poor and i am very concerned by the amount of teams below us with games in hand. I think if Coleman had been here a year earlier he would of been given his marching orders, however 3/4 wins could easily have us banging on the doors of the playoffs again. Lets hope for a successful transfer window.

Quite encouraged by this signing and feel that Coleman is putting together a good team. It generally appears that Rhys was admired north of the border and many people don't seem to undertsand why he was underused at Falkirk. Even though he still put together a fair amount of games.

John Coleman
at 16:26 11 Apr 2012

I hope people get off John Colemans back. He should only be judged when we are in league 2. He has inherited a squad of players that are either not good enough, not motivated enough or not committed enough. He will know who those players are and they will be out of the door in a flash and i say good riddance to them. We can not question any of his loan signings as this is probabally all that has been at his disposal. Eyre did the damage and Eyre alone. o.k we are still relegated but i am pretty sure we will be sitting comfortabally in league 2 next season, with Eyre it would of been a slippery slope to who knows where. Relegation is a bitter pill to swallow but there is no point in fans bringing back the past or using hindsight against either the current management team or board of directors, who have served our club well over the last few years. I am not saying that JC et al are the ticket, i am just saying give them a chance and hopefully we will reap some reward next season, if he can gel together a team with heart then thats a team worth supporting. Up the Dale.

A brilliant result and it has got to be looked upon as a point gained regardless of how other results have gone. Who would of really expected a point against Huddersfield today. This team is clearly showing fight and determination. I can not believe a poster was suggesting things have not turned around since coleman was in charge. Look his opening games to this point have been against teams in the upper stretches of this league and guess what we have points on the board. I believe we do have a real chance. 6 home games and may i be so bold to say 5 of those are winnable, sneak a win at Yeovil or Chesterfield and we might be alright. The only mistake made was Coleman should of been in charge after Eyre, the table might of looked different. Who knows? one thing for sure we are not going down with a wimper like an Eyre or Beech team would of. Up the dale

o.k 17-1 to get out of the relegation zone. It seems we are playing better and having more of the play on sky sports score centre. Is this the case those that may be listening on radio?

Tranmere are the struggling team now with only 2 points from the last 6 matches. I can see them being pulled into it. In fact the team with the next poorest record is Bury. Only 12 points to catch them up. Anything is possible when you consider that 33% of our league wins this season have come under Colemans stewardship. Its amazing what you can do in 3 matches with a quality manager.

Surely when CD got rid of Eyre, he would of had some inside information from the players. If they though he warrented more time then i amsure CD would of taken this onboard. I don't doubt Grimes and Tutte would of been gutted because they have worked for him before and they were his signings. I can not believe the rest of the squad where happy with what was going on.

I feel sorry for him too, he knows its the end. I had high hopes for Beech and unfortunatley it has not worked out. Surley he will leave the club now, it would take a big man to take back the youth team role with a new manager unveiled.

What has been holding these players back? On paper they are cracking players for this level but i suppose we could say that about most of our players. I would prefer it if Grimes was given his chance.

Remit for the next manager should be preparing for life if we were in the basement league. We must get rid of Bogdanovich and Ormerod and play our own players. How can players like Grimes and Tutte have consistency if they only have bit parts to play at the club. I wonder if the new manager will rate David, Byrne or Twaddle? I would love to know who sanctioned these signings as it is clear non of our managers have any faith in them.
