I wouldn’t want him or any of his ilk at Dale ..I don’t think we need an old warrior type at all.

Would prefer a young whippet style playing up front.

I think an additional striker is vital.
As much as Mani delivers id be very surprised if he doesn't get another ban or 2 before the season is out.

Ultimately we can only manage the situation on a day by day basis..we are at the mercy of the weather.

I see the only robust solution is to move the fixture to another venue if poss or change the fixture to the away game if logistically possible,

i hope not to see a scenario where we are 5 or 6 games behind

I've always found the pre match interviews pretty turgid pap full of soundbites..tough place to go,...well coached..physically strong side..etc etc
only any good poss for player updates without giving too much away

Without doubt the club will be doing all they can to resolve this issue…perhaps we need an artificial pitch long term I’ve really no idea..?

The young lad is doing a great job but let’s not go overboard.

The success so far is built on all who have played,his enforced absence will be felt but should have little to no effect on what we can achieve without him.

Let’s be happy we can hang on to him a little longer
