Remember his name mentioned not that long ago on here, quite surprised after 2 promising offers from the Americans this has come from nowhere with seemingly very few strings attached and is now preference. Assuming this is preference as money can be made available immediately to keep the club running for the next month.

Mane having trials at Southampton

Is it McNulty driving this or the fact he has no choice as we have no money to get players elsewhere…I would guess the latter. The only manager who really seemed to utilise the academy well was Hill and also got some good money for players.

Share purchases update
at 12:51 29 Jan 2024

I don't post much on those board, but as a life long fan I think its fair to say I don't want to see the club fail, however this current board literally can't communicate for toffee. We fought off a take over - would we of been in a worse position than now if we hadn't? I actually doubt it, I don't care what any body thinks we seem incapable of managing the club. How is it we are all on a funding drive which is being lead by individuals and the supporters trust (admirably, may I add) but for me and I'm sure others, I want to know if the money is being used correctly and not just 'pissed up the wall', squad builder aside we have youth team players etc and a large infrastructure with massive outgoings, in reality raising 10k for example is probably pissing in the wind in terms of costs and wages, and unless we sort out these outgoings and maximise income then as a business it is doomed to fail. I honestly can't see how any small share sale will help that, someone needs to make tough decisions, like a cull of the staff in none essential jobs within the club, if we aren't getting the funding from the league for youth team for example, wrap it up, as we don't seem prepared to utilise the players to fill the bench anyway. I will support and purchase merchandise from the club as much as possible (always have and will continue to do so), but we need changes to the club now - some communication and rallying calls from Simon wouldn't go amiss...just my thoughts, I and probably many more would be inclined more to purchase shares if this was the case.

No, you an only register as a fan, no selection for the Dale, their service team messaged me last week to say updated, I checked and it wasn't, I sent an email to say it still hasn't been updated, got a further response yesterday saying it will get updated closer to the start of the season and he said with in 1 to 2 weeks before the start, I kindly reminded him the season starts on Saturday...No response, absolutely rubbish.

They seem rubbish, I have emailed their customer care, got the following response.

This was there response today:

Hi Matthew,

This has not yet been updated. This will be updated closer to the beginning of the season.

Kind Regards

How late do they want to leave it, surely it takes less time to rectify than it does to answer my email. . we only start in a week......

Bars Season 23-24

I agree about hot food offering would be good, although I believe food team is changing - as Lancashire hospitality aren't renewing their contract? But the curry at half time was good - so this or access to pies would be great. Would also be nicer to have a few more tables an chairs in the main bar area. Cider wise seeing though quite a few have mentioned, I personally think the Somersby's is great on draft.

I purchased a rewards card last week, wouldn’t allow me to purchase a ticket online on Saturday so queued up for ages to get a ticket before the game, I also emailed the club twice about the issue and had no response, went to buy tonight’s ticket and still just says ‘no event found’, thought with it being late I can’t be bothered to queue up again and decided not to bother going to the match. The club really need to sort this mess out, Tuesday nights are never that appealing but making it hard to get in must be putting others off coming.

Got to agree. I am in the 40% bracket and I can assure you once the taxman has taken his chunk you don't get much more than say some one on say 21000. I agree the 10000 is good for low invome earners but why hit middle income people. The way it works is it tax free up to 10000, between 10000 to 32000 you pay 20% and 32000 and upto the next bracket you pay 40%. Coupled with NI and student loans deduction at 10% then you can see why those earning around 40000 to 50000 aren't actually earning as much as you think.

Has Anyone Seen My Testicles?

218 fans at the cresent I was in the home stand with my mate. Bit warmer by all accounts. We were in agreement both teams were pretty dyer. Not 1 person seemed to go for it. Im sure if someone had gone for it then 3 points would be in the bag. Sadly Donnelly missed that shot which was a sitter from were I was stood. We def were the better of the sides but certainly was no advert for league football.
