A Club United - Crowdfunding
at 12:17 21 Feb 2022

Hello Daley's

I've just had a gander at the crowdfunding page and noticed that it ends in five days, will it be extended beyond that and is there anyway that a monthly donation could be organised for those that can afford it,sorry if it's been mentioned elsewhere but I thought that I would ask rather than trawl through the hundreds of posts

Keep up the good work

I think that the point you make about season ticket holders (and others) being sought to put in £5 a month should be promoted RAFCBLUE,it's something that could take off and help with the costs significantly

Blackdog has alerted me to this and I've happily donated and will put some in each month,if anybody could contribute monthly instead of a one off I'm sure that it would be appreciated by the club and the Trust,I feel for you guys

URGENT APPEAL FOR SUPPORTERS
at 14:21 21 Jan 2022

Black dog has been keeping me up to date on the recent events and along with the Trust emails find myself back on here because of the antics of some unscrupulous chancers trying to bully their way into the club again, what exactly are they hoping to achieve by the court case,is it all bluff like previous threats of court?
It's all worrying stuff in which I thought that worst was over and half the battle was won with the recent(ish) share issue, obviously I can't make the march but would be more than willing to chuck something in the pot if there's a whip round for the cause

Best wishes for 2022 and keep up the good work keeping the shysters away from the club,Dale are the first result that I look for on Saturdays at 5pm,looking forward going head to head with Dale in League Two soon (but if you get promoted I will be more than happy)

Who could have forecasted the ups and downs that 2021 would hold 12 months ago, relegation, the Trust being a big shareholder in Dale and growing in strength more than they could have ever imagined,a new board put in place and supporters being share holders, fans stopped petty bickering and came together as one when it was needed to fight a common enemy and the incredible investigative work done by posters on here to see off the spivs and charlatans who tried to ruin the club, all in all a year to remember for sure

So here's wishing all you Daley's a nice quiet, boring peaceful 2022 with special wishes to the Trust and Col and those who worked relentlessly on here behind the scenes to keep the club safe

Happy New Year Daley's,all the best to you and your families, see you in League Two soon

Match Thread: Notts County vs Dale
at 22:07 16 Nov 2021

Popped back on here to say congratulations, absolutely gutted that you scored right at the end as I was expecting Dale to let a late goal in,no sour grapes from though as I will be cheering Dale on in the second round and hoping that you make the third round draw, the TV money will come in handy and Dale are starting to look good going by today's game,win/win situation for me really as if Notts had to lose to somebody in the FA Cup then I would want it to be Dale

Good luck lads

We've got our club back

Alright lads..

It was brought to my attention that a couple of you was asking about me so I thought that I would pop on here as it wouldn't be right to just disappear without saying owt
A couple of weeks ago I got into an argument on another forum (not football related) that spilled over into real life and it threw me and so decided to give up visiting message boards as it's just not worth the trouble, this forum has always been brilliant posting on though and never had any trouble from anyone in all the years of posting,Dale v Notts will also be my last game and I can't think of a more fitting final game and i will be in the away end cheering Notts on but if Dale go through then I can't think of a better team to lose to,I predict a 2-2 score with Dale winning the replay at footballs natural home Meadow Lane

James,I've applied for 100 shares in Dale but only requested them last Friday as I didn't want to buy any if it deprived Daley's of purchasing them but I haven't heard anything yet,I won twenty quid on this week's lotto and will reinvest it in the club with 50/50 tickets next Sunday

D_L,thanks for the offer of a pint and it shows just what a decent set of lads you are but as Kel and bdb will testify I rarely meet up with posters but thank you anyhow

So that's it really,I'm glad to finish if I'm honest but I will continue to watch out for Dales results on a Saturday at 5pm but there is one thing that I would like to say before I go ...

A great time in our history was Tommy Lawton,it was the equivalent of Dale signing Beckham in his prime,I only wish that I could have witnessed it

I've got to admit that Notts are very beatable just lately,we had problems with our back four at the beginning of the season that's been sorted out but just can't finish in the final third of the pitch,we lack that killer instinct to finish off the game but we will be the underdogs so who knows, every dog has its day
