BBC Sport reports that Dutch midfielder Michael van der Heijden is set to sign at the Liberty

Reports also suggest that he will immediately be loaned out to Hereford United after impressing enough during a trial to suggest that Roberto wants to keep hold of him but not enough to consider him part of our plans for the forthcoming season.

Van der Heijden scored in last month's 5-0 win over Neath at the Gnoll but has not featured on either the tour of Spain or the three friendlies since the club returned.

But both the BBC and Evening Post now report that he is about to be offered terms and loaned out - backing up reports that appeared in press reports in Holland.

The club have made no official announcement either way.
