Despite his young age, it seems like Brown has been around the club for many, many years. This next season will in fact be his fourth where he has been involved in the first team and throughout that time he has shown that he is a vital member of the squad.

He joined the club straight from school and was a regular fixture in the reserve side before getting his big break in the first team on the last day of the 2004-5 season. His performance that day was a major highlight, with many people citing him as their man of their match that day.

He's not yet been able to make himself a permanent member of the starting eleven, but he has at time of writing featured in the equivalent of a full season's worth of games. His natural position is as right back, but he has been given many a run out on the right wing, and has even figured as a left back when injuries have dictated.

He has a tendency of getting "bullied" a lot on the pitch. His stature sees him only stand tall when around kitman Jack and he's been singled out for special treatment a couple of times, but he's never been one to allow himself to get intimidated by such things.

He signed a new contract in the Summer of 2007, and will continue to add versatility to the squad, whilst challenging Simon Ramsden for the right back position.
