Paddy keen on USA switch Tuesday, 6th Aug 2013 16:09 by Col Former Dale winger Patrick McCourt is planning to move to America to play Major League Soccer when the season starts up again next year, but is looking at a short term deal with Hibs in the meantime. Since leaving Celtic at the end of last season, he has had trial spells in England with Blackpool and Peterboro, but he's joining up with Hibs on a short term deal to look after his fitness. Speaking to the BBC, Paddy's brother Leroy said: "It's always been the intention to go to America. It's 99% nailed on that he'll go over there. He doesn't want to uproot his family at this stage of the season over there." The Major League Soccer season finishes in October of this year, but will start up again in March.
