Why not make up the loss of flyer revenue by taking a paycut and donating to make up the shortfall? Jenkins? Consultant Dineen? Pearlman? It’s a pity it’s been stopped as a lot of needy people have benefitted from it. I have supported it on the past but until I read it on here recently I didn’t realise half the money went to good causes, I thought it went back to the club.
If fans think the money is going to the club and they are sympathetic to the Trust with everything that’s going on I can understand why they won’t put their hand in their pocket, as has been said it’s likely to be the merchandising, food and beer sales next. The danger for the owners is that there is a ripple effect as awareness spreads. If the product on the pitch isn’t right then there are likely to be less people at the games. | | | |

Yeah me too! Unless its some form of false memory I'm sure when proportionality/parity and comparison from rising crowds.... promotions.... playing in higher divisions..... and playing in a bigger stadium is factored in? I'm sure the prize money should have rocketed sky-high way beyond what was actually being paid out but instead it seemed to be vastly less than what should have been expected?

Yes it's all OUR fault! Along with sh*t transfer/recruitment policies, overgenerous contracts and a totally avoidable relegation! Oh, and making sure their salaries carry on dropping into their already swollen bank accounts whilst good people are losing their jobs and players, THE most important component of the club are begging for contract extensions!
He has to realise that even if there were unfounded rumours and suspicions over the flyer, the way the board acted towards the fans and the trust regarding the sale was not exactly "open and honest", was it?
