Just because you can't get a thread above 50, there's no need to get so upset about it.

Nobody's, upset, Maria, except you. Why do you put yourself through this humiliation every day? Seriously, why?

We both know you called yourself Santa Maria on another message board and that you pretended to be a Saints fan. The only reason your threads are so long as that you keep replying to yourself and people on here take the p!ss out of you for being our pet worzel.

Here's another one

How many times have Pompey had crowds of over 32,500 at home

Portsmouth, who knows? 300/ 400 times
Soton 0

strange, but true

So your guessing with the 300/400 bit!

And the the most recent documented time was 1968 for a league match

When was the last time their average league gate was above 30k?

Over 66 years ago so probably not even in your lifetime!

Quiz Question on 11:36 - Apr 8 by 130yrs_and_one_Cup

So we don't agree.

The old record could have been Soton or Birmingham, nobody really knows, but the fact that Soton only had around 46,000 as shown by the photos above ; we know for certain that the record is now Pompey in 2020 who have sold over 50,000 tickets

And the 89,8724 is in the record books, and might possibly never be beaten

And the old Wembley sta is Pompey v Soton ie 1939 where Pompey had one of the largest ever attendances at the old stadium. Soton's 100,000 in 1976 doesn't count as at that time they were just counting all gates as 100,000.

But we do now agree the fact that Little Portsmouth didn't take record numbers to Wembley in 2019, we've proved that.

"And the 89,8724 is in the record books, and might possibly never be beaten"
That figure won't be beaten anywhere on the globe, the guess of 89,874 probably won't either as segregation seats will take at least 300 seats off crowd total.

"And the old Wembley sta is Pompey v Soton ie 1939 where Pompey had one of the largest ever attendances at the old stadium."

So we agree, one of the largest, but not the largest 26-174,000 off the record.

So we agree 2 facts wrong, the other figure everyone knows is a guess.

In the 68 season we had crowds well over 40,000, if that had happened to SFC there would probably be a website devoted to it.

No,

what we should agree is as follows

1. the largest official attendance at Wembley is the 2008 FA cup final.
2. the largest probable individual attendance at Wembley for a final was either Birmingham or Soton, but can't be proved. Pompey have just beaten any unofficial records
3. Pompey almost certainly had a larger attendance than Soton at the old Wembley, but it can't be proved. The white Horse final is not relevant in this discussion it was Pompey v Soton

Quiz Question on 16:20 - Apr 7 by 130yrs_and_one_Cup

talking of 2010, let's examine your claims of getting 46 - 47,000

Exhibit Number 1

Unfortunately you can't see where the stewards line is on the left hand side

Exhibit Number 2

But you can clearly see where the stewards on the left-hand side were with this view. Your porky pies about having nearly 50,000 or even over are well and truly exposed here.

Exhibit 1

Lower Tier at Wembley holds 34, 000, looks like Carlisle fans came round to about the 18 yard box,so generous estimate 14,000 tops, they had a Pompey turnout at Wigan in the top tier, few hundred in Club Wembley middle.
So max 15,000, though don't think they sold that many.

Therefore, 73k crowd -15k Carlisle = 58K. We officially sold 44k, wouldn't give us anymore

Does anyone honestly believe 14,000 neutrals went to a Paint Pot Final?

You need to re-examine your maths here.

Just a little studying will tell you that Carlisle had around 19.5 sections full on the bottom tier, a tier that holds nearer 34,500 which equates to 15,290.

They also had fans in the mid and top sections. There is now way your club took over 50k

Because the league game averages are the true measure of consistent support/attendances! Are you now going to dispute that? Go on please!

We all know the blue few have a history of coming out on the odd cup game for the cameras, ner ner nerring and proclaiming to be the best fans in the world! They then go back into hibernation and normal service on the south coast resumes.

"Pompey : Largest individual away following attendance at neutral venue (Wembley 2019) National Record
Pompey : Largest combined attendance at old Wembley (1939)"

But we do agree Little Portsmouth taking 42k in 2019 is not a National Record Yes?

And changed the goalposts for the second fact to one of the largest. Yes?

Can these unofficial attendances be proved?

It's a bit like your seasons of over 30k average attendances. I have proved that most of them are fake, but they still remain in the records books. Pompey have probably had had 10 30k seasons to your solitary season, but I can't prove it.

No changing the goalposts, we were on about P v S, and you can't prove that you had 100k at Wembley in 76, it was just a made up figure.

Yes, coming out for hundreds of cup games above 30k, 35k, 40k, 45k, and some for 50k

as well as averaging over 37k even with the owners probably taking a bung, so those figures might be over 40k average.

44 blocks in lower tier, 4 in corners hold barely any, leaving 40

So how could Carlisle fill half (19.5 sections) when they only ventured round to the 18 yard box, less 2 for Club Wembley so around 15 sections x 850 =12,750 if all sold.
My 14,000 was generous
