Looks like it's Groundhog day then for us. I get the feeling that he will sign for another club leaving us to once again for a manager that is not really our first choice and underwhelming.

How many times have we been gazumped over the years with players and managers , Swans identity individuals do the hard groundwork and other teams step in last minute and take them ,it’s always happened and always will ,sometimes they’ve been successful other times we’ve had a lucky escape and the people involved have failed miserably, just the cycle of the Swans ,I guess
It’s not helping that 3 other championship teams with more money are looking for managers at the same time,although ,even with deeper pockets,they might not be as good an option as the Swans as they will demand immediate success and tend to be less patient and forgiving
As long as we get the right people in for us this time,that’s all that matters ,we’ve got more professional people in charge now to make that decision | | | |

I’m not so sure, the thing is only two people in the UK know the exact info. And they won’t be talking to anyone. If anyone read our summer transfer reports then they will know the journalist we confide in there (east Anglia) believes interest is limited at Norwich.

The way some people carry on you'd swear that the people we target have no free will of their own.
We've acted quickly and entered into talks with someone who seems to be our first choice. He can say no. If he does then that wouldn't be our fault. Seems like no matter what happens there are those who will always want to blame the club if things don't work out the way that we want them to. |  |

We went after him. We targeted him as our first choice and that's plain to everyone including Kim. The others have been looking at other managers (O'Neil, Carrick, Russ even) so not obviously their first choice.
Logically he will look at others and his agent will chase around as they should. But knowing that we want him must count for a lot. | | | |
