Saints are taking a big following up to Crystal Palace, but with the railways in chaos, that is not an option to get to Selhurst Park, so Southampton Away Travel are putting on a fleet of coaches to take up the slack.

Article is incorrect trains are running from Southampton to Clapham Junction and there are trains from there to Thornton Heath or Selhurst

https://www.southwesternrailwa

First train 7.30 journey takes just under 2 hours

Last train back from Selhurst 16.40 gets back to Southampton 18.29

This is only possible due to 12.30 kick off

Nb no trains on line from Portsmouth to Waterloo

Thankfully. With the stress Saints fans are under and the inevitable winding up from the fishy ones.these dual 1230 ko. In London are a recipe for disaster.
Authorities screwed up here big time. I'd be astonished if there aren't problems between the fans in pockets around the old smoke anyway. Especially with the new breed of young fans "bigging" it up.
