Not sure how they have been so heavy handed and over the top at football, yet when there’s disorder on the streets lately such as in Swansea the other day, or in some of the London or Glasgow incidents, they seem to back off and leave the rioters to it
Even in the 80’s when there were riots quite a lot I don’t recall the coppers running away even if they took a lot of injuries
Not saying policing is easy, but have they got soft? In this Swansea riot nobody seemed to have any fear whatsoever of them.
Yet at football they were top heavily nicking and/or tw@tting people for any slight sign of bother.

When I click on an old post it just goes back to the main forum screen. Does everyone have this? Is there a cut off how far you can look back?

Any preference? Both capable of blitzing us but surely Chelsea the better option should we progress.

Hanging on with 10 men against City. Will be result of the season if they make it. What a manager Bielsa is.
Edit 1–1 ha ha
Still a great effort and shows City won’t be invincible in the cup final

Wonder if Ralph will want to rest any players to prevent injuries for Wembley
I’d prefer it if we go for the win and keep the best players in, so we’re full of confidence. Then again Saints always seem to pick up injuries to key players just before big matches.
He might be tempted to bench the likes of Armstrong and even possibly Ings?

All pie in the sky but I will have a go
West Brom 3
Leicester 0 as they gain revenge for their semi final defeat
West Ham 1
11 points takes us to 47, probably a 12th-14th place finish, plus a cup final
Forgot re arranged palace game

The MOTD commentator on Man U v Brighton tonight said Graham Potter played in the famous 6-3 grey shirt match.
Amazing how often people get this wrong

Great that we’re basically safe, can fully focus on the cup. Just need to keep this group fit, maybe try the likes of Jankewitz against West Brom

I know Henry Cooper did Brut, and Frank Bruno did HP Sauce
But has any Uk sportsman ever featured in as many adverts or promos as AJ? Whenever Sky Sports is on you can be sure he’ll pop in up a few times in the break.

Lose their manager but still manage to turn over their play off rivals

Every match he gets some nasty ones and nobody ever seems to get booked for it. These ones where he goes up and then someone stamps on him as he lands seem to happen quite a bit

He’s been looked upon as a bit of a crap manager for the last few years but got a realistic chance of a top 4 finish with West Ham
Some of their fans thought they’d be in a relegation battle this season. Can see a few of their best players getting picked off by the top clubs in summer though

Salisu starts with Bednarek
Weak looking Wolves line up, but very strong bench

Looking forward to Klopp’s interview and hearing how much harder they’ve had it than Man City
