Boris was an idiot, but Sunak started turning the economy after the massive inflation hike caused by the Ukraine war, getting it down to 2% under Labour we've been almost double that. He also achieved 2 quarters of .6% and .7% growth equivalent to 2.5% for the year, a brilliant figure given the circumstances.
Labour get in and the economy dives again. |

Nail on head. Let's keep our fingers crossed he doesn't give the unions more powers, or we might return to 70's style strikes every day and flying pickets.
He's definately going for pin-up PM and spending a lot of time looking in the mirror to get his smile right. |

Ross Stewart won't be going to a PL side and there won't be many that can afford his wages in the Championship...and possibly take the risk with his injury record. So could he return? Tonda is still in touch so let's hope so. |

When the balls were pinging around our goal and Pickford made a few good saves you knew it was only a matter of time before Argentina scored...and we've seen it so many times before. England's strength is in their attack which we totally abandoned, so we played into Argentina 's hands. When will we learn.
When have we ever seen a German team play that way, they always increase the pressure when they go up a goal, and attack to win, as has been mentioned Tondas tactics. |

Keep him at all costs, he's the one player we have that puts genuine fear into oppositions defence and he can turn a game. He was less effective in the latter games of the season because the opposition doubled up on him, credit to his skill and drive.
He cost us £7.8m which is a bargain, so keep unless someone offers £35m+ |

Kane and Bellingham can be considered world class, but 2 isn't enough to win it, in 66 we had Charlton, Moore, Banks and Martin Chivers all world class (also Greaves who didn't play) plus the brilliant Hurst and the energetic Ball.
We've got a lot of good players but few stars, but since 2000 we've packed the PL with foreign imports denying our own time to flourish. |

Tonda may get a tune out of him but it's a big gamble, and we can't rely on Archer, we need to buy a proven goal scorer. Let's hope Spors and his team are keeping a close eye on some of the World Cup forwards...or he's got a nugget up his sleeve.This season depends on it. |

Tonda and his team and the physios did a really skillful job keeping Ross fit and playing, and when he is playing he's a very intelligent striker and linkman. But they knew his limitations, which a new club won't, so I expect him to get crocked again soon.
Shame, it's a big loss for us....and I suspect for him. |

Well said. We've got fast wingers and a lot of crosses coming in, and Stewart got his head to many of them. Also Tonda very skillfully didn't overplay Stewart and kept him fit. Activate his year extension but Spors needs to buy another big CF as cover. |
