In fairness to I would, it happened. I must have been watching same coverage. Too many of his corners were poor; didn't pass near post or straight to keeper and commentator laid into him.

I'd add grealish to the list. Such a tw@t.

In fact, there must be one in every PL team. These guys are so talented and lucky to be doing what they are doing, why must they be prize assholes. We should compile a comprehensive list of most hated player in each PL team
I wonder who is seen as saints sinner. Redmond? Bertrand? Maybe Solent or blue can give an impartial view.

Is life really all that?
at 04:55 2 Jan 2020

Ok. I'll bite. Though still waiting for a reply from OP on another thread how he managed to watch SFC in the 80's if he is 27..... :)

Anyway, The following may be of interest / help; I'm not speaking as any great authority on the subject but my wife is a therapist / counselor and biographer and tried to explain bits of this to me once.

Firstly, Age 27 is now being seen as a "quarter life crisis" in the modern sense. Top google link i got:

https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/quarter-life-crisis-age-most-likely-job

It has also already been recognised as the year where humans experience what is known as "crisis of talent" and this can also be evidenced by many artistic celebrities taking their own life aged 27.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/27_Club

But the point is, what do you do about it? - If you can't get out of your job you are unsatisfied at then it is imperative that you put a lot of energy into a hobby / talent that you have. There are hundreds of mitigating factors but It is that lack of realising the potential of an undeveloped talent / reason for being here that could be affecting ones well being overall.

Personally, I left all the dosh that was in IT when i was younger simply as i saw myself becoming increasingly isolated and put family and jobs with more human contact first. Ok i naturally missed the money but couldn't put a price on overall the happiness since.

Happy 2020 all, whatever you do and wherever you are.

Good for him to refer back to the 0-9 positively. I'm liking our manager more week on week.

As someone said, much better to lose 9-0 once then 1-0 nine times. And if we can help leicester win the league on GD then all the better...

I know saints were fouling them here and there and a few decisions going our way, but palace don't half moan. It was relentless. Should have been a lot more cards for dissent. Thought ref did well in a nigly game overall and commentators said same.

Next week it's Kane who bothers me. Such a cheater and gets all the calls

I was surprised too when Armstrong didn't start but I get your reasoning.
Boufal is still too much of a luxury player and Armstrong does so much more meaningful work,so hope for that change.

Should have won but coming from behind, agree with everyone a point is good. Nothing to fear with spurs.

Yes. Whenever they showed the dugout he didn't look isolated as before. Lots of input from assistants which is good news and a worrying issue before.

What a superb goal

Exactly this. It was like watching Brazil. When Redmond scored I went absolutely mental. What a brilliant goal.

Also, credit where credit due. Stephens was superb. Both the centre backs actually. Play like that and w won't be buying anyone.....

Apart from the goal, obafemi having a blinder. Being a real nuisance when he drops back and hassling right wing / right mid area . Good lad. Goal has done him a lot of confidence. Just need Adams to pop one in too. COYS

as we've diverged so much from the OP, anyone read the BBC decade stats article.

oh, look. SFC are 10th all decade. Boscombe 16th and PFC 34th.
Making us top dogs on the south coast in recent history which is all that matters to the youngsters.

and there is a distinct chance that an entire PFC generation will not witness top flight football. Sad to say, but it must hurt.
