The other slightly worrying aspect to this is that some of the players currently on the ‘fit list’ we know are made of glass (JCS and Poku) and some, for different reasons, are struggling to get through matches (Kone and Smyth). It could get worse before it gets better; given the history, that’s probably more likely. |

As a fanbase we’re far too tolerant. Given how long this has been going on for, perhaps it’s time to make a point on match days; a few new songs/chants might encourage some action. |

Nourry must be feeling the heat. I can’t believe his loyalty to Williams extends to losing his own job. If the wheels come off again, as would appear to be happening, I’d imagine the owners are going to be pretty p11ssed off. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see a restructure involving a new Head of the medical dept, with Williams quietly shuffled out the door in a few months. It needs sorting and it can’t wait until the end of the season. |

The club has lacked standards for years. The only time we’ve looked like we were getting our act together was under Warburton.
I like Kolli but if he “knows what he has to do” but isn’t doing it then the bigger picture is more important than a game or two, imo. I’m pleased JS isn’t compromising on his standards. |

I’d look at the number of years they’ve been found to be cheating and demote them the equivalent i.e. if it’s 8 years, plus 3 years obstructing the enquiry, put them in tier 12 so that they spend atleast 11 years away from the Prem. |

If this isn’t a case worthy of expulsion, I’m not sure what is.
I can’t imagine the Premier League have any obligation to find another league for them to play in so if they can’t find one that’s just tough. There will be one though. If the Football League won’t accept them (I’m sure they will) why can’t they can go lower? If Welsh clubs can play in the EFL why can’t an English club play in Wales or Scotland? |

couldn't believe they got in the playoffs, then that they won them, then that they've gotten off to such s good start. As others have said, I think they have an outstanding manager and wouldn't be at all surprised if they stay up and do quite well, assuming he isn't pinched by someone else |

It’s not about not having any losers or giving out medals for mediocrity, it’s about a balanced, reasonable response, instead of the apparent (I don’t swim in the Social Media sewer) spiteful, nasty pile-on.
This isn’t a dig at you but everyone’s reality is different. Just because theirs isn’t the same as yours doesn’t make either of you right or wrong.
Society these days can be vile. There’s just no need for it. |

On the other hand, that wouldn’t give him any security if he breaks down again. It might be that the contract is longer we’ve just built in a reasonable release clause. Maybe a two year with an option on our side to extend but with a release clause in the meantime. That feels like a more balanced option where both parties potentially benefit without the other losing out too much. Pure speculation though [Post edited 5 Sep 8:30]

Some unnecessary nastiness on this thread. If this is a refection of the wider reaction on social media, doesn't reflect well on the fanbase.
I'm personally just pleased we seem to have a decent team to watch for once.
