They Done me proud. Our Goalkeeper has that personality , that eclat. At last.

the bonus from block 219 1500 miles away was Julien looking like Dirk Bogarde in 'The night porter' on the touchline.

Top tip .When going to West ham invest in a blade runner esper photo analysis machine to see the game with any clarity.

Being an East Ham lad it kills me stone to the bone going to this unholy diseased temple in the Mega city one strontium dog wasteland of upwardly mobile Stratford'city'

Stopping off for a couple of pints in Ilford with Simon Stainrod junior before going into that shiny mothercare plastic shit pot where the tourists and whats left of the east end/Essex West ham support, walk the wheel midnight express style with the lingering memory of what they once were as a club floating around in the firmaments of their minds .

From Hornchurch to Canvey island they have their memory loops. Their habits. Behaviors that keep them walking the wheel of the club they once were. A club that meant something, that stood for something.

What do they stand for now?..Blitzkreig Greed . A big eye with a deep throat. Selling off the family silver for the blistering crack pipe of the tabernacle premeir league. I abhor them in perpetuity.

2-0 superhoops. Make me proud tonight lads.

Once i finished hyperventilating about the squad selection it came to my attention that Tom Johnstone. Mike Mcmeeken, Billy Smith and Hamlen Uele are all scheduled for surgery so apart from Matty Nicholson at Camberra and Cronulla's Owen Trout the squad looks more or less about right, Hard luck on Danny walker And Daryrl clarke but i can see why mcdermott went with the hookers he did.

If Both the past and present England managers see something negative in Connor perhaps there is something to it, Although James Graham stated in his recent podcast that Connor was an asset both on and off the field when they played together back in 2018.

Worried that the same halves combo of Smith and williams who produced the square root of f uck all in the ashes will be asked to go again. Perhaps Savala might provide us with an off menu option. Not sure of Lewis at all. Apparently half back Jamie humphreys of south sydney made himself available for selection but Mcdermot couldn't crowbar him into the squad.

Max King at prop is a huge asset yet i've no idea of what Ben Talty is all about having never seen him play at the Broncos.

Very envious of you chaps going to the games, its a disgrace that the matches will not be shown on BBC or even Sky.

Always remember when he came back with palace in that 82 quarter final. Palace had some right thugs in that side Cannon and gilbert doing their best ronnie and reggie that day.

Clive running the lengtth of the pitch to celebrate his goal lol! Mike Flanagan an underated player as well.

Also from that golden age , a really good interview with my first hero, Simon Stainrod that cropped up on my algo. Loved the man. so much so i named my first born after him.

anyway not a lot of people know that Barcelona tried to sign him to replace steve archibald!

A proper QPR number 10. In extremis.

too wound up totalk about the nrl final but congrats to wakfield.Proper old skool rugby league club.

Daryl Powell deserves this. Built a great side Clough style mixing tough old warhorses with young talent.

Had a fiver on cameron scott for first try scorer so that was a nice little bonus for the cystic fibrosis trust.

England squad under mcdermott for the upcoming world cup will be fathoms better than under the last ludite wane. i reckon we could go far.

something like below could take us very close as the aussies are severly weakend with injuries and departures to the pacific islands..

1. Welsby J
2. Johnstone T
3. Farnworth H
4. Smith B
5. Young D
6. Williams G
7. Connor J
8. King M
9. Clarke D
10. Mcmeeken M
11. Nsemba J
12. Paerce Paul K
13. Radley V

14. Thompson L
15. Trout O
16. Knowles M
17. Nicholson M

on top of that theres still hald a dozen or so that are easily interchangable, disgusting the world cup isnt on sky, tnt or fee to air.

Go you green machine.

Other than QPR....
at 14:36 27 Sep 2026

Canberra Raiders. Became a fan in 2018 when i first started watching NRL. i've been drawn across the planet Earth to an entity that I have no connection with other than my Love for the team, a connection that defies any impassive logic or reason and one that i can't explain .

It transcends dimensions of time and space. All i know is that i get the same raw human base feelings watching the Green Machine as i do The Super hoops. Love for a sports team cant be explained by a HAL 9000 and certainly not by a simian eastend bloke who left a flat pack plaistow comprehensive evo stik soaked re-education camp with 3 mediocre 'O' levels in 1984. Love just.. is.

And i love the Raiders!

Ps 'Nuff love for Middlesex CCC also.

i've had a week from the 7th rung of hell. Been in the boozer all day only to log on and see that it was a mad Frankie Fraser of a game.

2-0 down player sent off after 20 mins and we still fought back for a draw.

Minerals.

Ludo Miklosko RIP
at 10:01 14 Sep 2026

Sad news. I would watch him regular at Upton park early 90's as i lived in Vicarage Lane East Ham, a ten minute walk from the ground.

A truly wonderful Goalkeeper in the truest sense of the word. Imposing, Valiant and Herculean. Ludek would put a price of losing a limb to a flying elbow or stray boot to stop his goal line from being breached.

Deeply loved and respected by the The upton park faithful. I loved Jan stejskal and rated him the best keeper i have seen at QPR ( Phil Parks being before my time) yet i grudgingly think Ludek had the edge on Jan, just.

Sadly fathoms past his best when he reached us yet i believe he had our respect as a fine football player and gentleman.

Viva Ludek and god take care of you. xx

Terrible,terrible kit.

The shirt looks like a uniform the Japanese production line Factory workers would wear in that Homer Simpson episode where he looks like the corporate logo on the box of 'Mr Sparkle' Detergent.

Cheers mate.. I feel an Honorary aussie as i got into Canberra raiders in a big way 7/8years ago and watch loads of Aussie tele on my dodgy stick! never miss a game!.

Plenty to be positive about .I used to get stupidly angry over QPR but have mellowed in the last 3/4 years not expecting much. I reckonthis is the best squad in years.

Good times ahead baby!

Oh man,i've only just seen your news Ted.. I don't know what to say mate..

A famous linguist once said that of all the phrases in the English language, of all the endless combinations of words in all of history, that " Cellar Door" is the most beautiful.

Bollox is it.

'Queens park Rangers Ted'. That's the most beautiful.

sending all my love Ted.
