Wednesday such a poor and demoralized side with all that's going on with them. We could have put some more goals away if we could have got anywhere near the performance against Leicester. Obviously take 3-0 though. Feel a little sorry for the fans of Wednesday.
Just hope the injuries are not long term. Think Varane was just an impact injury with his knee going hard into the ground when he made the tackle. The worrying one is Burrell. I hope I'm wrong but that looked like a few weeks out the way he was walking.
That first goal straight from the off in the 2nd half. I just knew it was going to happen as soon as it went out wide. Our body language when we came out for the second half was poor. No one looked ready or aware of the danger as soon as they won the ball.
Smyth is not a left winger. No link up with RND either. Saito to come on early please. Just that final pass/ball is missing. Bitty game. Pitch is awful, getting worse.
4-4-2 at home certainly. Sometimes away I would maybe change it but what do I know over a manager that's managed players such as Dembele, Doue and Camavinga.
When this is asked, for me I always remember this game. We played some cracking football in this game and considering the opposition we generally outplayed them. Yes we lost the game, but its a game we should have won. I also remember Faurlin being head and shoulders the best player on the pitch that day, above the likes of Yaya Toure and Silva.
Just watched Edgar Wrights The Running Man. Would presume its much closer to the Stephen King book than the Arnie film. I enjoyed it. Very different to the previous film.
