Great games against Liverpool
at 20:14 29 Jan 2020
There have been a few down the years what's your personal favorite? For me it has to be the semi-final and Long's goal. Other than that...
Steve Moran's winner at Anfield in 81
The game in 82 and Channon's goal even though we lost
84 the 2-0 win Danny Wallace's overhead kick
The 4-1 in 89
Valentine's Day in the snow 94 a 4-2 win I think
98 at Anfield the 3-1 win
Koeman charging up the touchline when Mane scored the winner
We've had some cracking games against them let's hope for more of the same on Saturday
Saints teams that looked doomed and signings that made a difference

Thinking back to the struggles of the 90's and some of the players who were bought in to help the cause I can think of two obvious ones, Chris Marsden in 98/99 & the unlikeliest of heros Micky Evans in 96/97. We never seem to sign anyone these days who makes a difference. We need another talisman in January.
Are we now at a tipping point with Ralph as Manager?

It's nearly the end of December and the team look devoid of any ideas. Could a throw of the dice like going for BFS save us or are these players just not good enough for anyone to make a difference? At what point does planning for the Championship kick in? I'm undecided but it looks increasingly like either gamble now or prepare for the drop.

Which are your favourites? Personally I love blue cheese. A mature English Cheddar too. Oven baked Camembert is another winner.

If Jezza has to fall on his sword this Friday perhaps Gao could persuade him to come to St Mary's to join the coaching set up

Apart from the cup game up there a couple of years ago it hasn't been a Happy hunting ground or at Highbury. We've had some good wins at home though my top 3 are
1. The 1-0 win in 94 straight after the Grobbelar story broke
2. The last league game at The Dell
3. The 3-2 win in 02 when even Delgado got on the score sheet

32 years ago this very day. Poor old Micheal Fish. His career was left in tatters after responding to that phone call from a concerned member of the public. It still makes me laugh even now.

I realise we now live in enlightened times and this sort of topic is frowned upon but what was the worst (or best depending on your viewpoint) naughtiness you witnessed at The Dell or St Mary's or town during your time?

Do you have any? I have the club crest adorning my left leg but that's as far as I've gone.
