That 17/18 figure is misleading. At around that time Coventry had ownership issues and had to play home fixtures at various stadiums around the midlands.
If you discount those years i think you'll find their attendances aren't that different to ours. |

League tables don't lie. We are all where we deserve to be.
Are we a bigger club than half a dozen or so Premier League clubs , yeah, probably. but they are rightly above us due to their performances on the pitch and their management off it. |

It got a bit tasty after our equaliser..
Overall a good evening. A small gripe, disappointing that there was not a souvenir programme to commemorate the game. Lets face it, we don't play Real Madrid every week.
Not even a team sheet, which by the way probably wouldn't of been any use as some of the names , or numbers, on the electronic score boards bore little relation to the kids on the pitch. [Post edited 30 Oct 10:20]

QPR always used to give the entire away end (top and bottom) to visiting supporters, which was great for us.
Since our last visit they now only give away fans the upper tier. (1800 ish)
Can't really complain as it still represents 10% of their capacity, which is all they are obliged to give. |

I read that Stoke were given an allocation of 2400.
If they've only sold 1900, does that mean they have to stump up for the 500 unsold tickets.
As has already been mentioned, it's not as if we could sell them. |

Caught the last 30 minutes on a feed and we were already 2-1 down. Got to be the most picturesque setting I've seen for a football ground.
I thought we were fortunate with our equaliser. Our man seemed to clear out everybody around him, our players included. Their winner by contrast was a delightful flick.
We had a kid on the left who was exceptionally quick, and had the beating of the fullback every time.
Truro didn't take any prisoners and the tackles were shall we say meaty.
Considering our kids were up against grown men, i thought they did ok.
I did think the locals singing "You dirty northern bastards" amusing. |
