Sounds like a similar trip to the one I had a few months ago: the Ypres (wipers) last post is certainly a stand out. Standing in a Poppy filled section of Flanders, or seeing where on the 1st July 1916 the 36th Ulster Division picked up 2,000 casualties in one day for their gains; it really puts life in perspective. |

The funny thing is the concept of the BBC - a reliable, unbiased, centre of news - is one which would fit a certain needed niche in a world of social media news. But the BBC simply is not that. Privatise please.

So I presume you believe that if we remove religion entirely - worked well in certain places in the 20th century (?) - the 7% of wars caused by religion would stop humans finding a reason to fight one another?

They were reported to have been tearing down flags and burning them, vandilised a taxi, with many chanting f*ck the Arabs and that there were no children left in Palestine whilst in Amsterdam last year. Birmingham is a sh*thole - and it’s an annoyance that foreign quarrels are brought to our cities - but many in their ranks clearly go looking for action.
