I decided to take up french when we appointed JS and after having watched The Count Of Monte Christo . It certainly is a beatyful language. just a pity that it`s so expensive to go there on holiday...

Chair…since he’s come back
at 20:14 7 Nov 2025

Chair is slowing the game down when he returns to old and bad habits which basically are:

1) Playing and running with his eyes wide shut or refusing to pass to a better placed team mate.
2) Taking all the corners and free kicks.

For large spells in the first half he released the ball when he should and in that way kept the flow in our play alive.

Ps: I hope he will find to the form he showed when Willock here. If not I think we should cash in on him if possible in January already.

Gaffer on today's defeat
at 20:50 1 Nov 2025

Cook not seeing that he is way over the hill doesn`t make it easier for the manager and team. I think he should have left or retired last year and Dunne filled in at CB for him. JCS is still not ready sadly...

Funniest book you’ve read.

Popular Music From Vittula is a very funny book about the author Mikael Niemi`s upbringing in Pajala in the north of Sweden. Just read it and enjoy.

Stephan stands by team selection after QPR draw and gives Clarke-Salter update
at 18:13 2 Oct 2025

It may be that he showed a negative mindset by chosing two def. midfielders from the off, but Oxford beat Bristol City a few weeks ago and you`ll never know what to expect from a Rowett led team.

His calmness adds a lot to our game. A very clever player who now is one of the first on the teamsheet for me.

CONTRARY to FIRM BELIEF
at 19:47 30 Aug 2025

At the moment I think he adds something different to the team. He is quite tricky and can certainly pick a pass when allowed time and space. He got at least one (nearly) assist today. I think he oculd have scored from a free kick in the first half also. ...

He was very good when Willock was at his best. He is still a sublime player when he uses his vision and releases the ball when he should.

Regarding our attack: Celar should have been given a few more crosses to work on. That could be the reason why he looked disinterested throughout. Not saying he is very dynamic in his way of playing though..

He would have been a very good player for us but his second ACL injury kind of ruined his career.

How optimistic are you now?
at 18:04 3 Jul 2025

Imo, we have to sign a box to box midfielder and a proven goalscorer if we want to reach a play-off position. As for now we are a mid table team, I think. Not saying the latter is bad though.

Marti, stick or twist?

Stick with Marti. I really hope Lee Hoos will try everything he can to sort this situation out if the article in The Sun is reliable.
