at 11:40 28 Aug 2020

Or, much like the other one that we arent allowed to mentioned, has he been banihsed for winding up 22 to much? I need fake transfer gossip and online arguements/wind ups back in working life.

Do you think you could do better? Why not do the course and find out?

Mind you I fully suspect that in between jet setting around on business, holidaying, running marathons and coaching your children alongside trying to keep them as saints fans you probably won’t have time no?

I wouldn't necessarily say we need to qualify for Europe to keep hold of therm, but we need to show some serious ambition to keep hold of them - spend money on known decent players (we know its extremely unlikely we will attract any proven 'top' players) and stop hedging our bets on young unknowns to prove to the likes of Ings and RH that we WANT to compete. Otherwise i agree, the mass exodus will begin and we will disappear again (which, again, as i have previously stated before wouldn't be a complete shambles; more competitive football, a chance for the deadwood to finally pi55 off and collect wages from another gullible mid level team etc etc)

The style that he has employed since Danny Rohl left no? - Coupled with the select any player for any position policy i would suggest.

+ when 130 doesn't immediately reply (mummy's put him to bed) you know hes desperately online looking for a 'fact' from circa 1952 to 'prove' his total fabrication, or will simply move the goal posts again, your list above Dirk still hasn't, and u very much doubt, will be explained/answered.

I’ll agree to disagree, however FML, a grown up discussion on a thread, not had one of these for a while.

I see your point, however, what is the point in having the technology there if it is not used correctly? All teams have been told that if ‘any’ body part is ahead of the second last defender then they are judged as being offside. Simple.
By trying to determine what constitutes an advantage simply opens up the situation for debate and around in circles the arguments will go.

VAR complacency
at 08:48 12 Nov 2019

The main problem with VAR is it is being used for 'subjective' decisions coupled with the absolutely unbelievable amount of time it takes to make a decision. In every other sport its for a definitive yes or no, think tennis: its either on the line or its not, cricket; it was going to hit the stumps or not, rugby; ball was or wasn't over the line, pass was forward or not etc etc.

VAR should, in the main, only be used for any potential debate on offside, and it should be well understood by all teams now that offside is offside, weather its head, shoulders, knees or f*cking toes. One line down on the nearest to the goal second defender, one down against the forward and boom, Roberts your fathers brother. 30 seconds max, job done.

It can also be used (as it has been) to catch players out who have done something out of sight of the ref, the off the ball bits etc, and this should be a simple message via comms down to the ref next time ball goes out of play to go over and have a look at the monitor (like pretty much every other country does anyway) and make a call on what hes now seen.

But fouls and handballs and all that b0ll0cks are completely subjective, you only have to read through the threads on here to see that 99% of us all disagree on if it was a foul, penalty, card, sending off etc etc. The on field ref gets one look at it and that should be it - his call. Yes it'll work for you sometimes and of course it'll go against you more often than not.

VAR has just become an absolute shambles but it could be that simple, it works in every other sport just not football because some people are to stupid to accept and admit they have cocked up and implemented it wrong.

IMO.

And at what point in this little make believe fairy tale did you come up with the reasons why SG would even entertain leaving a successful club in their own right to come down here and manage half ar5ed wa*kers with little or no financial support? I look forward to your reply...

Ask all you like, the question will be spun so that the answer is how we must become self-sustainable and that we are “trying” and all the usual bollocks.
