 | Forum Reply | If we had scored against Oxford at 17:46 27 Nov 2025
If we had conceded late on vs Swansea as we nearly did and probably deserved to, we would be 17th and just 5 places above the bottom 3. |
 | Forum Reply | Dembele v Smythe at 17:44 27 Nov 2025
I was really excited by the Dembele signing, even more so after his first appearance vs Sheff Utd but been largely disappointed since. The improvement from Dembele was in the last few is significant, would just like to see that end product and more tracking back. It’s a tough one as Smyth is clearly limited but hard to leave out when he performs like last night. Nice problem for JS to have. |

Looks a little unfit, suspiciously slow. We got a bit carried away with him early, he’s got a long way to go to make it as a good Championship Striker, totally understand the big step up and can definitely see potential though. |
 | Forum Thread | The real nillest nil nil!? at 07:06 14 Nov 2025
Clive’s report was of course great but one bit I didn’t agree with was how much of a nil nil it was, some great saves, header off the line, post hit. Got me thinking what is the most 0v0 I’ve watched QPR play out. I’m going with Cardiff (A) from the Critchley era, I’m certain absolutely nothing happened, not any near misses or incident. Anyone beat that!? |

As frustrating as these can be at least we are getting plenty of notice which is a big improvement. |
 | Forum Reply | Overreactions to wins and losses at 15:14 6 Nov 2025
Southampton, Norwich and Sheff U shouldn’t be bottom 6 teams but are coping worse than we are, it’s still early days, I think we finish lower mid-table as per usual. Not convinced by JS so far, I worry if he has the level of detail required, I was always liked it when the likes of Cifuentes and Warbs would go in to detail about the opponent they were about to face, I don’t get the feeling from JS, just a hunch rather than any facts. |
 | Forum Thread | Overreactions to wins and losses at 13:04 6 Nov 2025
Understand that ultimately we are nudges by results and not performance but frustrating that there is an overreaction both ways, wins and losses. We were never a top 6 side when placed in the playoffs recently, every win could have gone either way and the underlying data showed we should have been around 13th-15th, yet this almost seemed to set an expectations we would finish this high and delusions that we should be 6th or thereabouts. Similarly we were at least ‘reasonable’ last night, data shows we created far more threat (xg 1.68 v 0.68). Surely worth at least a draw with us restricting Southampton to a couple of serious efforts on goal one of which’s was deflected in. We have a squad that is mid-table (IMO) and a budget of close to bottom 3, reality is where we are now 16th (welcome home!) is roughly par for the course, where we deserve to be and where we will finish. No need for an hysterical overreaction. |
 | Forum Reply | Kolli at 18:02 3 Nov 2025
I’m also struggling to see the strengths of Kolli and certainly where he fits in this team, if he isn’t good enough (and we don’t get to see training) he won’t get in and with a fully fit squad his absence doesn’t surprise me. Also rumours of a questionable attitude which may not help. |
 | Forum Reply | Ipswich Reflection at 18:15 2 Nov 2025
The underlying data for the season so far has shown we should be about 15th so we are roughly about where we should be so far, maybe a little high. The quality of the squad player-for-player is about mid-table and budget very much lower mid so I expect us to be around 14th-18th, that is our ‘par for the course’. We of course should aspire to be higher and we all want to be achieving more, other teams are fairing better (others worse, look at our opponents on Wednesday) but this is the reality (unfortunately). |
 | Forum Reply | Worst places you have visited for an AWAY day fixture !! at 06:45 30 Oct 2025
I was at 0v0 match but the one after the London bombings, all went off when Hull started chanting about it. Agree worst place I’ve visited for an Away match, pubs were dreadful and clearly remember looking at a local paper and they had houses in the area for sale for 15k, which pretty much says it all. |

What was his/your time? I do a bit of running myself. |
 | Forum Reply | Promotion odds at 12:45 13 Oct 2025
Risk of appearing a bit negative here but had a good look at the underlying data so far this season, mainly based around XG. Our numbers aren’t particularly good and we should really be lower midtable, I wonder if some of the bookies now take more of a look at this more advanced way of analysing progress. |

Strange match, totally agree played very well for 20mins and pretty poor for the rest. Just about worth a draw. |

More should be made of that, what a ball! |
 | Forum Reply | Dembele at 22:08 20 Sep 2025
I’ve been quite disappointed with Dembele, brilliant on his debut v Sheff U but I struggle to think of any performance since that could be described as any more than average, seem to have plenty of other options in his position at the moment. |
 | Forum Reply | Away wins at 12:32 17 Sep 2025
Can’t beat this but my son who is 12 has an away record of W8, D7, L1, unbelievable considering how poor we have been away over the years. My son’s Home record is fairly poor has only seen us win 4 matches out of nearly 20. |
 | Forum Reply | Eliminator Playoffs at 14:15 12 Sep 2025
The playoffs are great as they are, that said this proposed format is used in Non-League and I like it, keeps teams in with a chance of the Playoffs until much longer, changes of going up from 7th and 8th are in but still have the interest in getting there and actually being in the Playoffs. |
 | Forum Reply | Finally saw a win! at 18:48 2 Sep 2025
I live in the West Country so generally go to about a match a month, I’ve always keep a record of games I’ve been to (sad I know). Since my son joined me, he is now 12, he has an unbelievable away record, 16 matches and only 1 loss, 8 wins and 7 draws, surely no QPR fan can have a better record than this!? The first loss was Derby last season. My son’s Home record is fairly poor, only 4 wins in over 20 matches attended. |
