What Was Your First Ever Saints Game ?

Saints vs QPR 14th October 1978. Result 1 - 1.
I was 8 years old and although the rest of the family were not really interested in football I loved it and Saints were my local team., (lived in Totton all my life).
After a lot of badgering and pleading my dad finally relented and took me to what still is his only Saints game. I dont remember much about the game apart from Ted MacDougall scored for Saints and I wrote on the back of the programme (which I've still got obviously) that the ref was rubbish ! Until looking at the records I dont remember at all that Paul Goddard equalised in the 90th minute. I must of gone home absolutely gutted.

A good signing I'm sure. As for Connelly I reckon he will still get appearances and then he is out of contract in the summer. Barney's future looks more dodgy what with his injuries and upcoming court appearance.

A gr-eight for AFC Totton and a great day for the town of Totton.

Up until the 1st sending off Bradford played the better passing football and it would of been a very close game if they had had 11 players for the whole game.
