That’s entertainment

Thoroughly enjoyed that.

Woeful defending, some very promising attacking.

But the absence of VAR meant it all happened real time. For the benefit of the fans in the stadium.

Football like it was meant to be.

Highbury 14th April 1984 - 14 years old on the clock end terrace with my mum and dad.

Adrian Heath.

Am i finally going to get redemption?

Its them or Leeds I reckon - run in looks tough.

Fingers crossed.

...is an internet adage asserting that "as an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazi's or Hitler becomes more likely...the point at which usually dampens the discussion."

Apparently the rule is once the comparison is made the person who made it loses the debate by default and the thread is closed.

32 minutes in - think it's showing how naive our tactics are.

Not sure City have had a (real) shot on goal yet.

Big question for me...

Are all premier league players married to hairdressers?

Im approaching 4 months without a trim but these guys all look like they just stepped out of the salon.

before you all start getting up tight about tonight.

with romeu, diallo and kwp out i thought we put in a reasonable shift. maybe could have been a bit more incisive in the final third but only shipped one which is a definite improvement.

looked mustard.

and can we put the 'we need another centre back' debate to bed once and for all? fourth (?) best defence in the premier league and don't think we have conceded since Stephens has stepped in for JV

Nick - some questions
at 21:15 22 Jul 2020

As you have the inside track on a lot of issues and are a finance kind of guy...

Can you confirm whether SFC furloughed staff during the pandemic / will be using the employers benefit for retaining staff post pandemic?

Do SFC pay the living wage? Last reference i can see is 2019 when we weren't one of the 4 EPL clubs that did but would like to be re-assured that it's changed.

Do you know / any way you can find out what the average lead time to paying invoices for suppliers is at the club (and whether there's a material difference for this between small businesses and larger suppliers)?

Thanks.

Guessing it's going to be something about defensive mistakes.

Wouldn't have lost that with fonte and Van Dijk.

Did SFC furlough staff?
at 17:53 2 Jul 2020

Can't recall if they did or not (I may have missed it).

After receiving advice from a Financial Advisor i called the club today to enquire about my ST refund. The ticket office line was closed so i ended up speaking to someone from customer relations who informed me they are currently running on 'skeleton staff' which suggests they may have taken up the government scheme.

Anyone know for sure?

Anyone know where he went? Bit concerned as he was on here a lot and has just dropped off the radar completely.
