I can’t make the Spurs game I completely forgot about a wedding I have to go to so if anyone wants two adult tickets in the away end I’m just looking to get my money back on these £30 each ideally sell as a pair.
With Cardiff joining Fulham and Huddersfield in going down, Norwich and Sheff Utd up. Who do you want to come up out of Leeds, WBA, Villa or Derby?
I personally would like to see Leeds come up as it's been the longest since we've played them and be interesting to see Bielsa managing in the PL. Don't really want Villa or WBA but we seem to have had a few points off them in our last meetings and we played Derby twice this season anyway.
If we don’t win tomorrow do you think we’ll sack Hughes?
I don’t think the club will react that quickly. We’ll probably draw tomorrow but I don’t think our board will do anything until at least Christmas.
We had to appoint Hughes after keeping us up - imagine the fuss if we’d appointed someone else and they were in our current position? Hughes seemingly wasted pre-season and can’t organise the defence but if he can start getting some wins soon he should be able to avoid relegation this season.
Struggling to decide here. I’m usually anti-United but don’t like the way Chelsea players seem to “down tools” every other season and don’t put in a proper shift. I also don’t mind Mourinho - I admire his desire for trophies and it seems to annoy some of their “fans” that they don’t play with the style of Man City but can’t really have a go at him because he does actually win cups.
All of the whining about the Wigan pitch invasion got me thinking about best Saints related pitch invasion.
We went a number of years without one after the mud slinging incident at the Dell and I’m too young to have seen any before then so I particularly enjoyed the Sheff United survival one in 2008. I also thought it showed a bit of spirit to have one against Burnley the year we went down - for me it’s a bit of fun and I have no interest in dancing in front of away team fans, it’s a chance to see things from a different angle. Maybe we’ll have one this year if we survive on the last day of the season against Man City.
I think it would be a shame for him to leave. As the article says, he doesn't fit in under Pelligrino but then I can't think of anyone who has.
Romeo has regressed, Lemina started brightly and now doesn't get much of a look in, Boufal has played a bit more of a part this season but I can't get over the feeling that even a marginally better manager would be getting a great deal more out of this squad.
I must admit I'm feeling more confident than I was this time last week.
I was really impressed with our performance at Dean Court last year but the season before that we were absolutely pathetic and fully deserved to lose. Hopefully Austin back in the starting line-up and we get at them right from the start.
I was wondering what our turnout will be like next season as we're guaranteed at least one visit to play Spurs. Will this take the shine off a cup final appearance as every club will get to play there?
Any know who we're playing? Can't see them on the club website. I know there are plans to go to America but I was wondering if we had any games lined up against local teams as in the past I've been to Eastleigh and Bournemouth. Not really fussed about the home friendlies.
