Joke Of The Day
at 22:43 27 Mar 2024

Did you know Koi fish always travel in groups of 4?.
Cos If they're attacked Koi A, B and C will scatter, leaving behind the D Koi.

Went to the new Mary Poppins themed restaurant last night for a meal.
Super cauliflower cheese but the lobster was atrocious.

I went to see my doctor as I started to have problems with diction.
"How d'you mean?" he said
"Well" I said," I'm having trouble pronouncing the letters F ,T and H "
"Well" he said " You can't say fairer than that then, can you?"

If Celine Dion had only the vowels in her name, it would be the lyrics to Old McDonald Had a Farm.

There was a woman selling batteries down the park
She sells C cells by the seesaw...

Yes going, forgot the £25 home end tickets went on sale at 12, so by the time I got on not many left, ended up block 111 row 3.
90,000 tickets shifted in 4 days.

Over 3000 miles away in Qatar watching England beat Wales 3-0, I've looked round and thought I noticed an ex England manager from Sweden sat in the row behind.

Turned it wasn't

Looks like any 2 from 4, no one knows.

So why do you think Leeds and Leicester?, when this season Saints have had more firepower than both of them, and you say Saints won't go up as they don't have enough firepower.

I think I've made that question simple enough.

So was I, the thought of them winning the quad was giving me sleepless nights.

Not for the decent, knowledgeable scousers from the Merseyside area, they're sound, the plastics who have never even been to a game from all round the Country ringing up radio stations and talking absolute horsesh1te. Embarrassing.

Away ticket Face ID
at 22:00 17 Mar 2024

I think I get what you're getting at.
Going to England away you have to have show a driving license/photo id so only you can pick your own ticket, but for those tickets (generally around 2-3 thousand) you have the day before/day of the game to pick them up from a hotel.

Can you imagine 9000 scousers rocking up at Manchester today?, they'd still be dishing out the tickets now. Impossible to make that work.

In Italy they print names on tickets, not sure many others do, don't think they checked with ID when we were there with Saints, but they did for England in Naples last March and it was a right ballache getting in that night, need to allow a couple of hours otherwise could miss the start.

So Leicester, who have scored one more than us having played one more, by your logic you can't see them going up either, even though this season have been playing in the Championship with PL standard players like Vardy, Dewsbury Hall, Mavididi, Daka, Iananacho, Winks and others, whereas we only had 3 players of PL quality in our squad last season.
So ,Leeds having scored 5 less having played a game more, so you're obviously not having them.
So who do you see going up with Ipswich?, who scored one more goal than us before ko today having played more games.

Saints Players You Have Met In Strange Surroundings
at 22:33 15 Mar 2024

Met Matt in Corals in Hedge End 2018, he started the conversation by asking if the Saints crest tattoo he saw on my calf hurt when the tattooist did it?
Got on to England, told him I was going to Russia for WC, he told me I was very brave and be lucky to come back alive, and said they're was no chance he'd go to Russia.

Met Alan Ball, Channon, Keegan, Paul Jones in betting shops, Mark Dennis emptying Post boxes on High St, Jimmy Case half cut in Matts nightclub, Rickie Lambert at a Phil Taylor darts show, and Dean Richards at my daughters school presentation.

I tried to drive up to Kings Worthy to get a lift to Wigan, but only got as far as Tesco at Winnall as the snow was so bad on the minor roads, so my mate picked us up there as he had a better motor to cope with the snow. As far as I can remember the snow seemed to stop just north of the midlands and the roads thereon were pretty clear.

The Reading game I took my daughter who was about 10 at the time, but left after about an hour as would have probably got done for child abuse if I'd have kept her there any longer in those freezing conditions.

Did anyone go to Sunderland away in 2003 for a Tuesday night 1-0 win.
Guessing there were only around 300-400 Saints fans in attendance that night, must have been around minus 5 degrees with a biting wind coming off the North sea,
Arctic like.

My top 3, 1 Sunderland, 2 Reading, 3Wigan.

Fair enough, rarely sat that side, would it be such a ballache the other end of Kingsland for their daft idea?

Fmob's, You'd been forgiven for thinking it was April 1st for someone (on wages no doubt) could come up with such a nonsensical idea.

Wasted millions on useless players last season, lets waste a bit more.

I know they will, anyone with just one braincell would know it's a 100% stone cold certainty that they will.

You obviously think they won't, tell us why?, it's a simple question.

If you could tell us why 100's if not maybe 1000's of Saints fans won't move to the Chapel end to be next to the away fans and bait them like now?
That would be much appreciated. Merci

Won't have to worry about Saints headbangers in the Kingsland, seats too expensive there, they'll relocate to blocks 20/21 in the Chapel next to the away fans, cheaper tickets.

Even someone of low IQ could see it would make far more sense to use blocks 34-39 for away fans in the Kingsland, keep away coaches in Brittania Rd, maybe provide a separate walkway for just away fans into that corner from BR, and won't have to move Family Zone, which if it happens means 12 blocks of ST holders will have will have to relocate instead of 6.

Someone probably got paid for coming up with this old pony.
