I think our team is poor unfortunately. Wood wont play a game and even if he does will get tanked. Archer is quality but backed up by no one. Carse is an ODI bowler ..
The batting line up will fold easily as well wiith Root and Brook the only ones who can do some damage
All im going to say is a number of fans say similar about chair as they did about taarabt!
Yes they wont always play amazing but they also can create something from nothing and can turn a game. Chair can but needs more around him. I genuinely thought saito, dembele and saito would work well but hasnt...... yet
I think its worth noting that the main posters who regularly make comments on match day threads are overall quite negative about QPR. This isn't a criticism but an observation.
They usually go on there to have a rant about every error QPR make and to be fair - I am sure we all do the same to an extent verbally at the game and I have been known to be negative on the thread. I guess its a way to express frustration
As you say, football is an interesting sport because it brings about the most fickle reactions. Kone was getting some interesting comments last match as someone mentioned above which shocked me given how well he has done here. Additionally, posters on the match day thread usually like to suddenly suggest that lesser seen players who haven't played well in months and have been dropped could have been our potential saviour and this only happens because we haven't seen how rubbish they have been
I compare the match day thread to responding to a work e-mail from a difficult colleague - don't respond to the smallest of issues, wait until the end of the day (maybe sleep on it) - reflect and make sure that e-mail is still appropriate to send. Otherwise you can be the one that looks a bit stupid at end end of it all
