Even at two up and playing good football I would have taken 2-2.
Franco and Galbraith are the two who will battle, Otherwise there's no fighting spirit
in the team.

If Stamonic plays, I'd like to see him much further forward. Perhaps in the number 10 role.
He is playing so far back he's right up against the centre backs. |

In the Brentford Man U game there was a similar incident to our first penalty shout with the defender pulling back the United player.

I remember being 4-0 down to Stockport County with 20 minutes to go and drawing 4-4.
Les Chappell had a goal disallowed to make it 5-4. |

When he made " Bridge on the River Kwai" ,the producers wanted an American actor to give the film more global appeal so they approached William Holden.
Same thing. Holden asked for a percentage instead of a wage. Guinness won an Oscar and Holden got all the money. He learned a lesson.
Holden was offered "The Guns of Navarone" and he tried it again but was told to sod off.
Gregory Peck got the part. |

When Alec Guinness was offered Star Wars he said he would do it for a percentage instead
of a wage. As no one expected much from the film so they agreed.
He made an absolute fortune. |

Our midfield yesterday was very impressive, Franco, Galbraith and the new lad really looked

the way we played under Williams was enough to drive people away.
If we keep it up under Sheehan with attacking pacey football, getting players forward and numbers in the box, hopefully fans will return.
