Government lied to fishing industry
at 13:41 20 Mar 2018
Teresa Mays govenment promised only last Friday that we would be leaving the EU Fishing policy in 2019.
Today it announced it wont be leaving it until after 2020. That will finish the UK fishing all together.
It's a betrayal to all those voting for brexit.
“This is not the deal that fishermen across the country were promised by the Leave campaign, or by Michael Gove and the Prime Minister. The negotiating weaknesses of the government must not be allowed to lead to long term losses for the industry."

referee, linesmen, and crowd
at 15:46 18 Mar 2018
Ref and linos were the worst team on the pitch... the ref could have easily become a homer, he was reacting to the crowd at first.
When he realised that there was over 4k of us he changed a bit. Linesmen did bugger all to let the game flow
4.5 K HEROES..have a good and safe trip home..loud and proud today
YOSHIDA COULD PLAY

Very strict call by the referee! He pulls out the red card and sends Charles Graham Adam (Stoke City) off the pitch.
3 game ban

Poch's full press on Swans
at 13:06 17 Mar 2018
Poch is said to not allowed our players to NOT put in a challenge 10 seconds ater the opposition received the ball anywhere on the pitch. That's what you call pressing.
Since going to Spurs he has changed that to 5 seconds, and the opposition found that hard to deal with.
Swansea can't deal with it ATM, and Spurs are running rampant. 2-0 up and one disallowed ATM
Nearly halftime, and then we will see how good the Swansea manager is at changing a game....and will give us some indication how Swansea deal with being under the tap, and a manager influencing, and changing the game
Something we havent seen from a manager for at least a year...

st patricks day
at 10:00 17 Mar 2018
as a young boy I was told that St Patricks day was because God gave me another birthday...
I'll take that, and as a birthday present can I have a semi final place for the Saints.
The return of Forster against Wigan?

It would not surprise me!
That doesn't mean McCarthy is going to lose his place, he has done very well.
Just a question of resting McCarthy and checking Forsters progress.

I am really looking forward to Mark Hughes first of his pre match media conference. It will be the first time in a couple of seasons we don't have to strain to understand what is being said.
We have to go right back to Alan Pardew to fully understand the language being used, although Pardews pressers were fairly dull.
After Pards there was dear old Nigel Adkins who was far from dull with his blue lines, controlling the controlabilities( whatever they were ). Adkins used use his pressers to wind up the oppositions manager occasionaly, all done with a cheeky schoolboy sense of humour, rather than being nasty.
Then came Poch (well, his interpreter) the interpreter became a bit of a star. And, it was good to see the friendship grow between the two. Despite being a club employee, Poch retained him on his own staff, which annoyed Nicola. I saw a few photo's a year or so ago, they were taken at the Spurs players Xmas party, and the interpreter was at Pochs table. I don't know if Poch has retained him, but they do seem to be friends still.
Then we had the comedy and a few swear words from Ronald Koeman. I liked his conferences, he nearly always left me smiling.
What could you say about Puels media skills? Buggered if I ever understood a word all the time he was here. He should have had a Poch type interpreter, he may have been more popular for it.
Pellgrino, as in everything else struggled.
Now we can look forward to understanding Mark Hughes suptle welsh accent, and his famous dry-wit humour.
Handling the media is becoming an increasingly important part of a managers job.
