This must be the most pointless article ever on TUI. THB wanted to leave and the club needed to sell him for financial reasons. As soon as this was the case there was zero% chance he would be played as neither side could risk him being injured. If he tore his ACL it would have cost the club £30m so utterly mindless to say we should have played him.

It's 2026 not 1986.

If our owner wasn't spineless he would have sacked Parsons/Spors and Tonda who were all responsible for the shambles which has cost him 200m.

Drawing a line under the whole sorry tale would have been the best thing for the club. As it is the saga is just dragging on and on.

I don't think Eckhart has the experience to deal with the fallout from last season and having a vastly inferior squad this year.

An experienced manager and new DOF would have made it easier to navigate what was always going to be a very difficult season.

Pedro "Pele" Montiero - truly awful. One of Whiskey George's drunken signings. Ended up in non-league. Calling himself Pele made it more hilarious.

Alan "Gordon" Bennett - On his debut he looked genuinely surprised that a football bounced (as it went over his head and the opposition scored.)

He will go on loan Nick. There's no doubt at all.

The club can't let him stay after signing Peretz. It makes SR look (even more) incompetent.

He will go on loan if we can't sell him. The only question is how much of his wages the loan club will be paying. (and we will never know this)
