Not a chance, he's too slow for a start. Cant use is left foot, his right foot isn't much better. If he's good defensively then play him at RB. But as a RW he is shocking

Derby County v Swansea City : Match day thread

Matos got it all wrong today. Very reminiscent of a Williams/Shehan performance.
Stop picking Cullen and Ronald, they are like a pair of male a wish kids on the pitch. Offering nothing to the team and hindering attack after attack.

Championship play offs possible change
at 15:43 11 Feb 2026

whilst i think the format works great as it is, if it presents us with a better opportunity to make the play offs then it's a no brainier as fans

TBF they are more presenters that pundits, which is a completely different skill set. Aluko however is not good at her job, she states that in 11 years she never received any negative feedback, but i'd suggest not renewing her contract is the biggest piece of feedback you can get.

it was actually a very good debate, there was no name calling over shouting or over the top reactions. It was refreshing to see 2 adults have a grown up conversation. If only our ministers could act with such decorum during a debate.

I don't get her point at all about caps though. Beckham has 115 Caps but i wouldn't suppose he'd be a great pundit (Just a guess) or manager if he had the inclination to be one.
Where as Danny Murphy only has 9 caps but is an excellent pundit (IMO)

I'll be honest i don't rate Sanderson either. I like Sue Smith, i think she is top draw, Alex Scott is also a good presenter.

There are some really good pundits out there atm but there are some terrible ones too.

Simon Jordan has took her to task today and her points have fallen apart

Thankfully i don't watch any England games or women games so i only see him on 'Stick to Football' and he is engaging enough for me on that.

I'm really not sure what she is trying to achieve besides coming across as being desperate for work. Not sure many broadcasters will go near her now for a while.

Keeping it as a civil discussion, but isn't she being hypocrytical with her current view that no men should be commentating on women's sport and gatekeeping it.

Personally i've definitely warmed to women talking on men's game and there are now some very good ladies out there and know what they are talking about whihc is brilliant for my daughter who is into her football.
I think she's just not very good at her job, i also don't think Michael Owen or Chris Sutton are either and don't want to see/hear from them either

I like Yalcouye too tbf, i just struggle with what our best 3 is in there. Good options to have mind you.

Would you see Galbraith staying at RB with the inverted role of drifting into midfield to create an extra body in there like Trent used to for Liverpool?

yeah i get they are different in terms of a 6 or 8 or 10 etc.
I'm hoping Walta is the 10 we are crying out for. I think Fulton will still. Could we send Yalcouye back and use that loan to bring in a winger which we so desperately need.

I forgot Cullen who also bizarrely is seen as a 10. Think it's time we moved him on if we can

Was going to watch Marlow FC away but managed to rope my mates into coming along to this instead. Gave up my season ticket last year and this will be my 2nd game live this season. I can't wait.

Former Swansea City boss reveals alarming '£100m black hole' he found at club

i didn't think it was just for an extra '5m' they held out, i was sure it was also to do with the make up of how the fee would be paid back and they wanted more upfront? I could be wrong though

Cooper was backed for 2 season with very expensive loans and failed twice. Martin was backed for all but 1 window, and even then he was able to recall the top GS from league 1 back into the squad only to not play him.
Duff was backed but the signings were awful
Potter at least was handed the best batch of youngsters we've produced and i am sure if he'd stayed we'd have gone close the following year also.
However even before Jason and Steve came in, we made bad decision after bad decision following the sacking of Monk (Some would argue that employing Monk was the start of the bad decisions)

The resigning of Bony and Ayew must be up there in 2 of the worst financial decisions this club has made in it's history. The fact they were done in the same same season is even more shocking, add in Clucas at £16m. Jenkins really did destroy us at that time
