Sadly they are nowadays, they should probably stick to doing Gogglebox I saw them in the late 90's at Brixton and they were excellent, slightly different band as they had the guitarist from Black Grape and keyboard player from The Farm who were much better musicians than the original members of the band |

Buendia went to Villa from Norwich for 33 million a few years back I'd be surprised if we got that much for him, anything north of 25 million and I would imagine we'll accept that [Post edited 14 Jul 22:50]

They were a new level of awful on Sunday, quite sad really. Shaun Ryder didn't really seem that interested and Bez acted like an drunk embarrassing uncle at a wedding Decent day out though for 30 quid The Coral were excellent as were Supergrass |

Whenever Tony Knapp is mentioned to my old man he still remembers the time when he politely asked for his autograph on the train station and got a stern no as a reply. Don't think my old man has ever forgiven him for that! Dean Hammond captained us to a Wembley cup win, admittedly the JPT but still a Wembley win, and two promotions, don't think anyone else has done that. He also joined a side that had been through administration and was a right mess. For me he is probably the best due to the achievements during his time with us Steve Williams was my first footballing hero and captain around the time I started going to games |

I would imagine there will have to be a balancing of the books after not going up Didn't Solak allude to a couple of players being sold in his interview a few weeks back? I took that as being Shea and THB I hope they both stay but I'll be very surprised if they do I would imagine we'll see a lot more of Bragg this season, who always impressed me when I saw him play last season |

I've said this on here before My avatar is the home candy stripes shirt which I bought on eBay years ago, I also managed to find a yellow away one too which was a stupid amount of money. My wife still can't believe i paid over 200 quid for a shirt that's far too small (large boys size) I also still have the ones from the early 90's in a box in the loft |

France I'd like to see them win the cup if England don't On a different note im slightly torn about the England game against Norway, really want to go and see Bill Ryder-Jones live in Guildford next Wednesday but it will clash with the semi-final if we win on Saturday |

If it had stripes on the back it would be pretty good Just seen the new Sheffield Wednesday home shirt for next season, simple design with stripes front and back, perfect Still, I'm not the target audience as I wouldn't be seen dead in any kind of club merchandise unless its on the treadmill in my garage |

Never been a fan of Martinez Portugal played the same as Belgium did when he was manager of them Should have brought Ramos on |

Portugal Would love to be in my favorite bar in Vilamoura with a cold Sagres and a bifana It's an arse paralyzingly boring game so far Just as I posted this, Spain scored, bollocks [Post edited 6 Jul 21:53]

Had a slow start to yesterday as we were at a local festival on Saturday and made a late decision to go and do one of the jobs I was going to do today yesterday afternoon and early evening. Got home just before the Brazil v Norway game so watched that, very much enjoyed seeing that shithouse Neymar crying at the end. Sat up and watched the game powered by endless cups of tea and cigs so by the time I decided to turn in it was about 5. Feeling pretty fuzzy now, last time I felt like this was when I drove up to Heaton Park to see The Stone Roses and then back straight after the gig and went over 24 hours without any sleep Glad I watched the game though, I'm not the most patriotic and don't have a lot of time or interest in most of the England squad but they were all magnificent Who's bringing the vibes to the squad now Jordan Hen-do has f**ked himself up, the absolute plum |

Just had a look back at the attendances for the games played at St Marys About 7.500 for Portsmouth, just under 4.000 for Newcastle and the rest seemed to be between 2 and 2.500 Not surprised the club are losing money with those attendances There seems to be a fair amount of games being played at Eastleigh so I would imagine that's more cost effective Semmens vision was way off the mark at SFC, but it probably helped get him a job at London City Lionessess though |

Bit like Dr Feelgood Mrs S tried to persuade me to go and see them when they played locally a few years back, I was having none of it Whilst I'll admit to bit a bit of an anorak, to my mind if there's none of the original members in the band they're basically a tribute act [Post edited 2 Jul 21:50]

This is the main reason why I'll be watching the match and any others if we get through at home When England got to the the final of the Euro's against Spain the had it on a big screen on the local green and it degenerated into a mass brawl, in Haslemere ffs, loads of poshos in salmon pink trousers windmilling |

Most of there times I've seen them they've been poor, same with Black Grape. Some friends of my wife run a festival in Bishops Stortford and they had Black Grape as headliners a few years back, Shaun Ryder was a right pain in the arse and a nightmare to deal with apparently, Kermit was a proper nice fella though according to them. Wer'e going as its pretty local and the tickets were really cheap Not fussed about seeing Sleeper or The Mondays tbh, but the last couple of times ive seen The Coral they've been really good and a few pals of mine have seen Supergrass and have all said they're great live I would imagine it will be a pretty sedate affair in the heart of the Surrey stockbroker belt, I'm surprised they didn't try to get local "hero's" Sham 69 on the bill as well |

Expanding on the theme of gigs, just got tickets for next Sunday to see The Coral, Happy Mondays and Supergrass for less than 30 quid each at a festival in Walton On Thames Seen The Coral and The Mondays a few times before but never Supergrass and thought it was too good an offer to turn down |

So was I, read about it on here and got a ticket I always drive past The Brook on my way down to the match, but had never been there, really good venue from what I remember. Got plotted up in a good spot upstairs Just looked it up, June 2013 [Post edited 30 Jun 23:21]
