Playing possession football against bottom half of Championship is one thing but against the youngsters of the likes of Liverpool is a different matter although we did pretty well until the first goal. Maybe we should have started with Armstrong and Adams as our shooting was poor. Hope some lessons learned and that we can slip back into our undefeated form asap. Play offs now look our only chance to get back to the prem. Great support from travelling fans as always. |

Good win which deserved more goals and a clean sheet. It's good to see the confidence we have in passing the ball around in defence although we and Bazunu paid the price for overdoing it. Good performance and well taken goal by Che, who could have had more. I would be disappointed to see him leave. |

Some good premiership quality football when we are ahead and confident. Not so good after they equalised and put us under a bit more pressure. The third goal restored our confidence. The signs are there just wish we weren't 10 points behind Ipswich, but plenty of games left and hopefully no more 4 game losing runs. |

"You don't win anything with kids". Summer transfers needed to be more experienced players. I'm not saying we didn't buy good prospects but we may find we need them later on to get us back to the premiership as the showing was not good enough to convince that we will survive in the top flight this season. Albeit against a Tottenham team that were quality but Kane and Son didn't score and it was only the first game of the season,so its squeaky bum time already. Need a quality striker above anything else. |
